About Jovel C
Lives in Sierre, Switzerland

18-24 year old female
My name is Jovel and I am currently in my final semester in Switzerland studying International Hotel Management. Born and raised in Singapore, I spent my whole life seeking out the best places to eat, stay and have fun. I am a serial thrill seeker and absolutely enjoy discovering off the beaten path activities such as hidden escape rooms, indoor batting stadiums and speakeasy bars. I also enjoy travelling and have lived in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Paris and Switzerland. On top of enjoying engaging in local cultures, I speak a variety of languages from English, Mandarin, basic French and Thai. My travel style revolves around off the beaten path routes and itineraries. From Couchsurfing to engaging in local transportation instead of private transportation, I mostly find myself with my Sony A6 camera wandering around the city and talking to locals and other solo travellers and backpackers. I do also throw on a fancy dress and dine at delicious restaurants being a serious foodie.

Dine in a restored chapel tucked away amidst the lush greenery of Dempsey. Savour prime European cuisine while you enjoy not only the company of your loved one, but also marvel at the beautiful stained glass windows, rustic tables, and the beautiful, romantic, storybook backdrop. The wine and cocktail list at the White Rabbit are also amazing! As is the food, of course — did someone say Roasted Black Truffle Free-Range Roast Chicken and 36 hour brandt short ribs? (My personal favorites.)
Romanticism in Singapore can be affordable on the rooftop of the Esplanade. Enjoy unobstructed views of the Marina Bay and other famous Singapore landmarks whilst having an evening picnic on the Esplanade rooftop. Bring your picnic blankets and food and enjoy a great night.
Trapizza is located in Siloso Beach Sentosa and is a perfect blend of everything you want from a romantic beach getaway with your loved one. Relax on beach lounge chairs and enjoy an outdoor dining experience right on the beach, or sip an ice-cold cocktail from the restaurant bar as dusk descends. Do not let the view and atmosphere distract you too much from the amazing authentic Italian cuisine served at Trapizza; best part is it is also very affordable, so be sure to check Trapizza out!
Atop the 57th floor of the famously acclaimed Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is Sky on 57th. The restaurant is famous for its afternoon tea served to you by Chef Justin Quek who specialises in Franco-Asian cuisine. The view is majestic and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, despite being modern, some would say, is just a little ostentatious and opulent. The couches are cozy and the staff are sweet, and once you are overlooking the beautiful skyline of Singapore, you could say the place makes you feel right at home, and totally in love.
Four-course dinner, magnificent views, Gueridon service, a personal butler, and wine pairing — enjoy a romantic sky dining experience in the Singapore Flyer.
Maybe you and your partner enjoy adrenaline-pumped activities and solving puzzles and riddles together! The Escape Hunt Experience is a fun way of connecting you and your partner together to work as a team. The experience offers different levels from beginner to challenging with a variety of different backdrops. Unleash the detective in you, from solving murders to finding who the culprit is — do you and your partner have what it takes? There is also a fun photo booth where you can take memorable pictures together!
The Trick Eye Museum is an optical illusion museum that is fun for couples who want to get away and have a laugh, exploring, 'climbing bamboos' next to pandas and performing silly poses! After you're done having a ball at the Trick Eye museum, you can ride segways along Sentosa while watching the sunset. An adventurous and fun-filled day to have with your loved one!
Situated within the Capella, the Auriga Spa is absolutely divine. From couples massage therapies to therapeutic pools, hot and cold showers, saunas, and aromatic pools for both sexes, enchant your senses and treat your loved one and yourself to a day at Auriga Spa. Known as one of the best spas in Singapore and possibly Asia, relax the day away at Auriga.
Bob's Bar at Capella Singapore is known as one of the best bars for live music. It is truly a hidden gem as not many non-guests know about or frequent the bar. Enchanting Spanish-latino bands play the classics — we're talking a little 'Cuando cuando cuando' and then maybe a little 'Fly me to the moon.' Bob's Bar overlooks the beach and as you enjoy the night sea breeze while sipping on your cocktail and listening to the live music and crashing waves, you can relax with your loved one next to you.
How about a romantic beach getaway just 50 minutes away from Singapore by ferry? Bintan is the closest island to Singapore and is being marketed as the next tourist destination beach in the Indonesian Archipelago. It is beautiful, quaint, and ideal for a short distance, romantic getaway from Singapore.
There's something for every type of couple here, from riding an adrenaline-pumping roller-coaster hand-in-hand to splashing about together at a water park, or picking one of the many dining options for a romantic dinner for two. You can even spoil yourselves and stay overnight in an Ocean aquarium suite surrounded by fish and underwater creatures!
