54Nancy54's City Tips

  • *You can take BART from the airport to downtown San Francisco at a fraction of the cost of a cab. * Union Square is a centrally located spot for shopping, dining, theater, and public transportation. *Get a multi-day pass for cable cars/trolley/busses if you will be in town three days or more. It is cheaper and much easier to use than purchasing individual tickets.
