Well it’s clean beds are almost ok breakfast is very limited. That being said it’s the only place we could get a room on the island I don’t think it’s a $147.00 after taxes but it’s all we could get the staff are very nice.
The check in process was easy and the woman at the desk was so very nice, in fact all of the staff are very nice. While the staff are very nice there are a few issues they are unable to resolve, such as:
Do not expect washcloths! There were NO washcloths available for my entire stay! I requested a manager and they produced 1 washcloth I eventually bought a towel set at the local mall.
Do not expect hot water at peak bathing times! In fact expect lukewarm water for your entire stay.
Do not expect to stay above the 4th floor! Only the 3rd & 4th floor belong to the hotel the rest of the space is used for a retirement home/community.
Don't expect the air conditioner to work in every room, this is the report of another angry guest.
Do not expect the room to be cleaned daily. They straighten up and that's it.
Lower your expectations and remember your staying in wonderful Puerto Rico for a decent price! Honestly I wish I hadn't prepaid otherwise I would have left on day 2!!
bathroom was ok for a shower but no way you could have a bath staff were friendly they said there was a free walking tour around centre of granada we waited outside for 30 minutes and the tour guide did not turn up
the parking is good and its included. the elevator takes you to the room and down to the parking w/o a problem. the only downside: are the cockroaches. small but cockroaches anyway. the TV is old , but works. the house keeping is good and fast. the price is higher than the hyatt. and has no restaurant on site.
We arrived in San Juan after an early trip from MA. We spent 5 hours walking around Old San Juan before heading out to Bayamon, were we stayed at the San Miguel Plaza. The room was small but clean and the ac sounded on its way out.
The following morning we took a look at the "continental breakfast" and it was anything but one. We decided to skipped it and head out for a real breakfast.
The San Miguel is a good hotel if all you are looking for is a one night stay.
