Popi was incredibly hospitable and friendly. Her and her husband made our 2 week stay an authentic Greek experience, while also helping us feel it was our own home. As rock climbers, we enjoyed the quiet of Myrties, and the proximity to Masouri. A pepple-covered beach was just steps away. Our room was cleaned every 3 days, and in between, we were provided with the things we needed to keep our home-away-from home as tidy as we desired. The cozy kitchen with two-burner stove and mini-fridge was just what we needed to eat well on Greek salad and kabob dinners over and over! We also enjoyed beers at the end of a climbing day on our patio, watching the sun set.
It was a privilege to stay with Popi and her family and we highly recommend it.
The studio is at first floor, while the family lives at the ground floor. The room itself is well equiped with all necessary kitchen utensils and effective mosquito nets in all windows. The solution with a small loft inside the studio where the bed is located is attractive. Strong wi-fi signals, but TV is obsolete with a loose antenna tucked behind the screen. You get a strict message upon arrival that you have to use the bin next to the toilet for the toilet paper. Then it's very strange that they did not empty any of the bins even once during my eight days of stay. A plus is the short distance (200 meter or less) down to the harbour from where the small boat for the peaceful island Telendos leave. Occationally a family member with his dog comes on a visit and may stay overnight. If that happens you should be prepared to tolerate some barking from the dog kept outside in a short string.
Stayed 5 days, bins not emptied until day four, but worse no clean towels or bedding during our stay. The room is tired, various electrical problems...oh I could go on....to the owner, please get a cleaner.
