This place is a true gem! I wanted a place that was the perfect romantic getaway and Stonefield Villas was the perfect choice. When we travel we love to be immersed in the culture, to learn about the area, to eat the food of the culture and to stay in a place that makes you feel like it’s a second home. Stonefield Villas hit on all 3 points. The Villas make you feel like you’re in your own place as it was very secluded and private. It was just what we needed for our anniversary to refuel our romance and to be reminded of why we fell in love with each other. There were several honeymooners that we met so love was everywhere! The staff was great at Stonefield very helpful and they were always happy to answer my call (from the cell they gave me) and help me with reservations, rides, shuttles and spa appointments. Everyone is always happy at this place! This was not my experience at Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain, the staff there was rude and the place was too busy and fast paced for me while on the island. We did the Spa twice while we were at Stonefield. We did the couples massages and the couples Meli' Melange, both were awesome and I would recommend. The villa was the best part we stayed at The Frangipani and didn't leave the entire first and last day because the villa and pool were so beautiful! We did 2 trips to the beach (Sugar Beach and Anse Chastanet) Sugar Beach was my Fav! Thanks for a great stay Stonefield Villas!! I will return....someday.

Hello Carey,
Thank you for this affirmation of our unique product. Thank you for sharing these comments and thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our brand of hospitality with you especially as it relates to rekindling the passion in couples and "refuelling your romance". We love that description, by the way, and may add it to our repertoire of product statements. We were honoured to have hosted you both and we hope that return sooner than "someday".

This resort has a lot of potential given the location. The views were breathtaking and each room has its own private pool. The service from the staff was mostly a miss where we had trouble getting them to care about anything we pointed out. Our concerns/queries were sometimes not even acknowledged. The restaurant on the property has amazing views with a decent breakfast but lunch and dinner was extremely frustrating with slow service and very limited vegetarian options. The food we did get was also not great tasting and overpriced. We stayed in a different resort in the island for the first half of our trip and had a nice stay. Given the higher price tag of this place, it wasnt meeting even basic expectations of service/friendliness.

Thank you for your review. We are sad that your experience was not an exceptional one. We are looking into what the issues could have been during your stay. It is rare that our prices are ever mentioned as being over priced and we pride ourselves in being able to easily deliver on meal requirements for our guests. Our Chef is always happy to create additional vegetarian options to what is always featured on our menus. All feedback is always appreciated and we hope that your overall Saint Lucian experience was an great one.

My now wife and I honeymooned her this June and it was the perfect place to decompress. This place is amazing. The views are spectacular, and the villas are really cool! Hammocks, plunge pools, garden showers- so many unique little touches. The food at thier restaraunt was the best in the area (compared to Jalouise and Ladera). They incorporated local seafood in an ever changing menu that far exceeded my caribbean dining expectations! Go for Coco Mango cocktail- seriously. Obviously I cannot say enough about this place. The staff went above and beyond each day. This the place to relax in St. Lucia. They have contracted with LOCAL guides for the excursions, not toursist trap companies found on other places on the island. The Soufriere (south) end of the island has the heart and soul of St. Lucia. The mega resorts are up in Castries on the northern part of the island- (might as well go to Cancun). We absolutely loved Stonefield, and look forward to returning. Top notch!!!!

We just returned from our stay at Stonefield Villa and I must say, the pictures don't do the view justice. We were fortunate enough to get the much sought after Flamboyent room and we were just thrilled. Besides the room and view, nothing else stood out from the resort. Here are a list of pros and cons
Pros:
- The View! The View! The View! Please, if you're able too, request for the Flamoyent room since all the rooms are different. This one has the best view and one of the largest personal pools. It was absolutely amazing. (Only downside to this villa is that the villa above has a view of the pool area so no skinny dipping or doing the naughty out in the open lol) If only they added one more tree to block the view!
- This is one of the few resorts that have their own private villas that has A/C and plastic coverings so bugs don't fly in.
- Perfect for covid since you're not interacting with others much besides eating.
- The kitchen provided has everything you need to make a simple meal. We had brought drinks from the airport and made our own frozen drinks. (they provide you with a blender and ice cube trays.
Cons:
- The staff didn't go out of their way to know who you are or act friendly (maybe due to covid). They would ask which room we're from repeatedly and they didn't leave much of an impression.
- The menu and drinks were very pricey and you don't get much for the price. There is an added 10% tax and 10% service charge. We felt very unsatisfied with each meal and the price we paid for it.
- We were charged $14 USD for dessert when the menu said it was $10 USD.
- The cocktail hour consisted of one drink and one h'dourve when we were there. We stayed for 20 minutes or so since we were the only guests present and didn't see any management around. .... granted, that one piece of h'dourve was delicious.
- Need to pay for water, the first bottle they provide you is complimentary but each large bottle will be $4.50 USD.
My wife was able to find an app called Foodhub758 that acts like Uber Eats. We were able to order from the only restaurant that delivers and saved quite a bit on food. We spent around $30-$40 on a large amount of local food as opposed to ordering from the restaurant Mango Tree $110-$120 and leaving hungry. Management was okay with this and I left cash at the lobby and they called when the food arrived.
All in all, stay here for the view and alone time with the significant other. Don't expect anything else to impress you besides the room and view!

Thank you for choosing Stonefield Villa Resort for your stay. We have to agree with your feedback on how stunning the views are. It is almost impossible to capture its true impact in pictures.
We are however sorry that your experience was less than perfect. Our staff are not quite able to express their natural welcoming feelings as well as they normally do due to the necessity of wearing face masks however we strive to continue providing kind service and hospitality.
The prices at the Mango Tree restaurant are certainly not fast food prices which it appears to be what you would have preferred, however we are consistently considered a restaurant experience with excellent value for money. Our prices are also lower or on par with many of the resorts in the area. With respect to the dessert price, management has looked into this and our staff were not made aware of any discrepancy on pricing. We apologize for this as any mistake highlighted to our wait team would have been addressed immediately.
We have replaced our weekly management cocktail party for safety reasons due to covid protocols and replaced it with complimentary cocktails and canapes at sunset. To that end, it is not mandatory for our managers to be present as the purpose of complimentary cocktails at that time is for guests to enjoy the sunset on our stunning deck privately.
The drinks offered are unlimited for the cocktail period and the canapes are as well. Perhaps since you only stayed 20 minutes there was not sufficient time to enjoy more than one.
We provide two 1 litre bottles of water upon arrival free of charge. Additional bottles are not complimentary.
We always welcome feedback and appreciate it whether it is positive or negative. This helps our team to deliver the best possible experience. Thank you so much for your feedback and thank you again for staying with us.

My husband and I just returned from spending 4 nights at this lovely resort. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had. As we often scope out TA for info prior to traveling, I must admit that we don't always write reviews, but this place warrants a lengthy one!
We had no intention on trying to hit every beach on the island or visit every tourist attraction on this trip; we just wanted some warm sun, quiet, and a beautiful location in which to relax. Stonefield Estate Resort was perfect!
Our villa (Tamarind) was terrific. We truly enjoyed the hammock for two looking out onto the ocean, the beautiful gardens, and the Piton. Early in the morning we enjoyed our coffee at the outdoor table and chairs. In the afternoons, we sat on the large deck and enjoyed drinks, dipped in the pool, and lounged in the chairs whilst listening to the birds and the breeze. The outdoor shower was also a great treat, both under blue skies and the stars! We did have some AC issues and a power outage one day (nothing that took anything away from our visit), and these issues were immediately attended to. The service at this resort is top notch from the reception desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant staff.
Breakfast each morning at the Mango Tree Restaurant (included), with its phenomenal view, was substantial and delicious. We would order the fruit plate, the two egg option and some of the Caribbean banana pancakes and share! Super yummy! Loved the local juice and how it differed each morning. And the bread basket and homemade jams served alongside were so wonderful that we ordered three jars of banana jam to take home with us as gifts!
We did wander off the property each day. We walked twice down the hill (and once up- which is totally doable if you are in shape) to the local Malgretoute beach to enjoy the quiet of this little gem right under the Piton. We absolutely loved this beach. No facilities, bars, or fancy loungers to rent, etc. but this also meant we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. We set our towels out under the shade of a little palm tree and dug our toes into the sand while watching the boats go by and swam right under the majestic Piton. Perfect.
We walked up to Martha's Tables one day for lunch after the local beach (delicious) and had the resort shuttle pick us up (very accommodating service). Another day we took the free shuttle to Sugar Beach and enjoyed the nice snorkeling there (we brought our own equipment), had lunch at the Viceroy restaurant there (nice setting, expensive, but tasty). There were many people at Sugar Beach, but we were able to find two loungers on the "free side" right by the snorkeling area, and we had a great afternoon there.
We ate several other meals at The Mango Tree restaurant and would also highly recommend doing that, including the Island BBQ night dinner (tasty and a lot of fun!). We ate at Orlando's one night and quite honestly wished we had just stayed at Stonefield and enjoyed the lovely outdoor restaurant and its beautiful view and very well prepared food and service versus the lackluster service and good but nothing super special (in our opinion) at Orlando's, especially given the high price. For us it was so much more relaxing to enjoy the beach, or a day out exploring (we did hire a driver one day to take us around for a short bit, including Soufriere for Mass and the Tet Paul trail), then come back to our villa for drinks as we watched the sunset (we had stopped at a grocery after airport for some snacks, etc.) and then wander up to the Mango Tree for dinner, enjoy some live music, and then back to "our place" to enjoy the sounds of the jungle from the hammock.
If you're looking for a lot of night life, organized pool activities, and a lot of people, then maybe this isn't your place, but if you want to immerse yourself in the tranquility of one of the most beautiful places on the island, then do not hesitate to go here! We can't wait to return and thank all of the staff at this wonderful resort for helping make our quick winter getaway one we will always cherish.

Orchid has no shade, so did get a bit much in the heat of the day
In addition to each villa having it's own pool, the Mango Tree Restaurant has a large pool that guests can enjoy while having meals, snacks or beverages served by our restaurant team.
Hi there, the resort has 17 villas. 14 one bedroom, 1 two bedroom, 1 three bedroom and 1 five bedroom. Each room in the two bedroom has their own bathroom. The three bedroom villa has one master bathroom and one shared bathroom. Each room in the five bedroom villa has its own bathroom. Four of the one bedroom villas have small kitchens. The two bedroom, three bedroom and five bedroom villas have kitchens. All villas have private swimming pools. All units have Piton views. Rooms with direct piton and ocean view cost more (Piton Ocean View Rooms) however all the ocean view villas have piton views. Hope this is helpful.
Could someone please advise which villa affords the most privacy for the pool area specifically.
Ours at the Lime Mill Villa is 6’! Unusual for a private pool.
