We recently visited the Brac for the first time and had the most special family weekend at Le Soleil d'Or. Prior to arriving, Amar was super responsive and provided us with a lot of helpful planning tips and information. He greeted us at the airport and took us to our little piece of paradise for the weekend. We stayed in the Cherry Lime room, which was perfect for our family of four. The farm tour was so interesting and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. They grow just about everything on the farm, which meant that we had the freshest fruits and vegetables the whole weekend. Francis and Sara ensured we had the best breakfast and dinner each day. The grounds are impeccable, the rooms are well appointed and super comfortable and the staff are simply incredible. You will be so happy that you stayed at Le Soleil d'Or!
From the moment we arrived and were greeted warmly by Darcia and Saranya, we wanted to call this place home!
We stayed in the Manor House and were treated like royalty.
The grounds are stunning, the service impeccable, and the farm tour is extremely impressive. Our suites were so incredibly comfortable and breakfast was absolutely wonderful (best Nutella croissants I have ever had!)
A very special place that we can’t wait to return to!
We stayed at the Solei D’Or in March and had the most amazing time. The windy weather turned our dive trip into a land trip and we were so lucky to get two suites here. Amar set everything up for us so we didn’t have to worry about a thing, he was so kind. Docia at check-in was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The highlight of the stay was definitely the farm trip. Randall knows everything about the fruits and vegetables and let us try so many different ones that it should count as a meal. The same vegetables were then served to us at a delicious dinner by Mario. Francis and Sarah at the restaurant made our experience unique!
Of course the rooms are beautiful and big but it was really the people and their friendliness that made this an exceptional stay.
I decided to take my girlfriend to Soleil D’Or for Valentines and we had a wonderful time. The villa was absolutely stunning and had an incredible view as well as a beautiful outdoor space with a private pool and beach. The hotel provided us with fresh fruit, eggs, juice and veg from their garden which tasted amazing. Everything worked perfectly and the room was in an immaculate condition.
The hotel also offered a multitude of great activites organised by Amar, the reservations manager, who was extremely helpful when it came to finding the things we were looking to do on this island. He was one of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and went far beyond what I could’ve expected to ensure we had an amazing trip including contacting a number of boat captains to organise us a fishing trip.
The food was some of the best and freshest I’ve ever had as all the vegetables came, harvested that day, by the hotel’s farm. The meals were incredibly prepared by their wonderful chef Mario, we were both in absolute shock every meal we ate at how amazing the food here was!!! Not only was the food incredible but the server, Francis, was such a lovely guy and made the experience even more enjoyable.
We also got a wonderful tour of the farm where we tried so many new fruits and vegetables I’d never heard of before and the farmer cut a few of our favourites to bring home with us. It was breathtaking!
All in all I can say that coming to Soleil D’Or was a great decision and it was one of those places where everything was worth what you paid for it. Would strongly suggest to anyone either visiting Grand Cayman or the Sister Islands to stay at this oasis and I can’t wait to go back soon!!
I had the pleasure of renting the villa at Soleil D’Or for three nights and was extremely impressed with both the accommodation and the service of the staff. The villa was on an incredibly private property on the ocean and the room was modern and luxurious. All the little details were carefully considered (fresh fruit from the garden on the table upon arrival, fresh lemonade in the fridge, etc). Amar, the manager, seems driven for excellence - striking the perfect balance between leaving his guests the luxury of rare privacy and checking in to ensure all was to our expectations at all times. His staff were very friendly and keen to please. We ate most of our meals from the kitchen and each one was amazingly prepared with ingredients from their onsite farm and local fish/meat. I highly recommend the farm tour. It was surprising to see so many fruits and vegetables being grown in the Brac that are native to other parts of the world with similar climates. Living in Grand Cayman, we normally utilize our vacation days to other parts of the world. We chose Brac because we couldn’t go anywhere else (due to COVID). We’ll certainly be choosing Soleil D’Or in Brac even when the rest of the world returns to normal in the future.
