We stayed here for 2 nights, accepted an offer to upgrade to a corner room with the most incredible views. The room was very good, could easily have stayed longer. The location is excellent for sightseeing. We didn’t use any hotel facilities as we were out all day.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and is in a great location for wandering downtown Robson St. We were offered an upgrade for $15/night which gave us a huge room, high floor and water view! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, has a shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge which was great!

Very good location along Robson Street, shopping, sights (Roedde House, Vancouver Art Gallery) and some very good eateries are all nearby. The beds are as comfortable as all the reviewers have described. The room is very spacious, the bathroom comparatively small. The corners of the rooms are windows, with a balcony, and the heater is automated to switch off when the sliding door to the balcony is open. Many breakfast options nearby. The front desk is busy all the time and the person checking us in was all business, no smiles. Room includes a Nespresso machine, capsule and tea bags and they keep it very clean. A good choice for the area.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at the Blue Horizon hotel. We loved everything about it. The staff are great and friendly. I requested a room on a high floor with a nice view before we arrived and upon arrival we were given a room on the 29th floor. The view was spectacular.

The location of this hotel is perfect to get our and explore all that Vancouver has to offer. It’s situated on Robson St and in immediate vicinity of shops, bars and restaurants. I highly recommend Earls bar and restaurant for great food and quality cocktails with a relaxed vibe.

The room we had was beautiful. We had a large balcony with water view and the room was cleaned daily. The coffee machine/tea coffee facilities were also re stocked daily. There’s a free safe in the wardrobe which is great for travellers. The bathroom is modern and the shower is fantastic, great water pressure. The room has a hairdryer and plenty of plug space.

Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank You Blue Horizon!

Excellent location - close to some great restaurants and a reasonable walking distance to BC Place and Roger's Arena. Ultra clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Our room had one of the nicest showers in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Every room is a corner room with beautiful views from the room and balcony. We will definitely stay at Blue Horizon again and recommend it to others.

rocketman000 was right when he said to request at the desk. We asked (the wonderful) Shirley for the highest and best view that we could get and she did an awesome job of going through every available room with that in mind. Our 2004 had a king bed and was quite spacious. It also had the view that I'd described earlier.

We were there in Jan 2016 sand the renovations didn't effect us at all. The staff are very aware of them and work is only done during the day. If you are concerned contact the hotel directly, they are really lovely

Dear pcrosley, We`re happy to explain. Our family suites are on the 29th floor. You have a choice of city views or English bay. Please note that specific views can be requested but not guaranteed, it`s based on availability only. Our family suites are approximately 520 sqft. in area and consist of a separate bedroom with a king sized bed and shower. In the adjoining room, there`s a queen size bed and sofa bed in the living area. A mini fridge + in-rrom safe and keurig coffee maker are standard amenities found in each guest room. You`ll love this room for sure! Looking forward to welcoming you here.

Rachelle is the manager at the blue Horizon. Don't be afraid to let her know you are travel writing and got advice from a fellow trip advisor reviewer who stays at the hotel regularly. My biggest piece of advice is to check in early and when you do ask for an upgrade to the best view possible for the same price. If it's available there's a good chance you'll get it. Good luck and welcome to Canada!
