What a wonderful four night stay! Hotel is located on Robson St within a 15-20 minute walk to most places in downtown Vancouver and transit stations and the free shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge has a stop right in front of the hotel. There is a restaurant on property and are plenty others very close to the hotel with something for any taste. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the views are amazing. Our room was on the 25th floor with a view of English Bay and the sunset at night! Very spacious, comfortable and clean with free wifi and HDTV with a wide variety of channels. Other reviews mentioned the elevators being slow but I didnt find this to be the case at all. Would certainly recommend this hotel!

Excellent location, loved the view from thirty floors up. Room was a little small but adequate, could have been a little cleaner but again, not bad, just not remarkable. In fact that pretty much sums up this hotel. Polite but not overly friendly staff, a damage deposit to a fifty something couple?? But, we did have a great view and a nice little balcony to look over the city. could have been better but not bad.

Great location, the main shopping street along with tons of restaurants. Less then a mile from Stanley Park, Canada Place and Sunset Beach. The Hop on Hop Off Bus has a stop at the hotel as does the free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge. Thank you Blue Horizon for the free upgrade to a room with a balcony, I loved being able to step out and see the city and mountain views all around.

We stayed in vancouver as the first 3 nights of our honeymoon. I rang the Blue Horizon and booked the hotel off the strength of the tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed.
We stayed on the 2nd to top floor, the views (particulary sun set) were amazing. The room decor was a little dated, but the room was big, clean and everything you would expect from the good rating on tripadvisor. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning, which had a good choice. We also had dinner one night (something quick), which was ok. There are so many nice cafes/ restaurants close to the hotel on Robson street.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family, and we would also stay here again.

Dear Jim,
Our private bedroom suites have one bedroom and two bathrooms. There is one bedroom with a King-sized bed and a Sofa Bed and a Day Bed with Trundle.
The Blue Horizon Hotel
No, it doesn't.
rocketman000 was right when he said to request at the desk. We asked (the wonderful) Shirley for the highest and best view that we could get and she did an awesome job of going through every available room with that in mind. Our 2004 had a king bed and was quite spacious. It also had the view that I'd
described earlier.
We were there in Jan 2016 sand the renovations didn't effect us at all. The staff are very aware of them and work is only done during the day. If you are concerned contact the hotel directly, they are really lovely
Dear pcrosley,
We`re happy to explain. Our family suites are on the 29th floor. You have a choice of city views or English bay. Please note that specific views can be requested but not guaranteed, it`s based on availability only. Our family suites are approximately 520 sqft. in area and consist of a separate bedroom with a king sized bed and shower. In the adjoining room, there`s a queen size bed and sofa bed in the living area. A mini fridge + in-rrom safe and keurig coffee maker are standard amenities found in each guest room. You`ll love this room for sure! Looking forward to welcoming you here.
