All rooms are stated to have balconies and corner rooms. We stayed on a high floor which gave us a great view over the city. Floors are small with only about 8 rooms each so quiet. Room was well kept and bedding comfortable. Great to have AC since we were staying during one of the summer hear waves. We were able to secure a late check out which allowed us an extra 2 hours so we could spend more time in the city prior to our departure.

We stayed at Blue Horizon for one night before we catch a flight out of Vancouver. Hotel is clean, modern and very spacious. It’s located in wonderful place with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops within a minute of walking distance. Parking is within the same building and come to think of it, I think it’s free. They didn’t charge any parking fee upon checking out. They gave us an “upgrade” to a higher floor room with pretty good views. Pool was closed for a renovation. Reception folks were very friendly. If we ever come back to Vancouver for an extended stays, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Blue Horizon before we left on our Alaskan Cruise. We had stayed there a few years ago, but not since they did their renovations. Wow, were we ever impressed. It is now appealing outside and inside, and the Restaurant is very "today" with a menu of interesting foods. We had a lovely room on the 30th floor - great view, and so nicely appointed inside now. We highly recommend this hotel, for it's great location, and for it's new look, clean, spacious rooms, as well as helpful and friendly staff. Thank you.

The rooms are very spacious and I recommend that you pay the extra money for a room on the higher levels and that will give you great views of Vancouver. Hotel has lovely bedlinen and huge king bed and the room is very functional and quiet. It is in a great location near shopping and restuarants and a wonderful base for exploring Vancouver.

What a pleasant surprise! As a woman travelling alone you need to be somewhat cautious , especially arriving in strange city and booking a hotel on line. I had read anew reviews from fellow Trip advisors and I wasn't really sure but the Blue Horizon fit the business budget perfectly $116/ night.

The hotel is perfectly located on Robson street close to everything, restaurants, shops, site seeing etc. The front staff were pleasant helpful and gave me a warm welcome and I was quickly registered.

My room 1208... For $116 was a treat. 2 queen size beds, LARGE room with a nice balcony. Refurbished bathroom and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable. I have no complaints.

To think I almost paid double because I wasn't sure. This is great value.

We were there in Jan 2016 sand the renovations didn't effect us at all. The staff are very aware of them and work is only done during the day. If you are concerned contact the hotel directly, they are really lovely

Dear pcrosley, We`re happy to explain. Our family suites are on the 29th floor. You have a choice of city views or English bay. Please note that specific views can be requested but not guaranteed, it`s based on availability only. Our family suites are approximately 520 sqft. in area and consist of a separate bedroom with a king sized bed and shower. In the adjoining room, there`s a queen size bed and sofa bed in the living area. A mini fridge + in-rrom safe and keurig coffee maker are standard amenities found in each guest room. You`ll love this room for sure! Looking forward to welcoming you here.
