Room was comfy, grounds well kept and the camp fire and marsh mellow were a great bonus. Breakfast was also generous and yummy. It was great NOT having internet for a couple of days.

We visited the Inn over Labor Day weekend. I was very pleased with our visit. The moment we arrived we were greet by Kathy who checked us in. We arrived a little early so our room was not quite ready, no problem, we dropped off our bags and off we went to explore. We came back a few hours later and the room was done. We had the 2 queen bed room with a private porch. The room is very large with the 2 beds, 2 Chairs, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The porch had a cute wooden table with four chairs and a relaxing hammock. There are grills outside the doors for use (which we used each day). On to the breakfast, it was fabulous, we had eggs, cinnamon rolls, bagels, juice, coffee.
Each night, Kevin was there to start up the bonfire. We enjoyed talking with the other guests and enjoying our Island Wine.
The day we left we had a great breakfast, easy checkout and off we went pedaling to the Ferry.

Biking the island
Bird watching
Winery
West end bar and grill
Visit the bakery
Visit the Quarry
RELAX and ENJOY nature.
Tip of the day..... the Co-Op ( aka grocery store) closes at 2pm so go early to get your supplies.
Each night, Kevin was there to start up the bonfire. We enjoyed talking with the other guests and enjoying our Island Wine.

We stay there in September 2019. Kevin and Fred, the dog, were great hosts. Our room in the main building was clean and just the right size. The location on the island was great. Close to the Pelée Winery Kiosk and to Fish Point park. Each night Kevin provided wood for a nice pit fire. There was a good selection at breakfast. Something to met all dietary needs or restrictions. I would have preferred being able to toast my bagel but that is a personal choice.

Loved our stay. Every detail taken care of. Excellent breakfast, clean spacious room, very comfortable bed, well groomed site with all necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Kevin, Cathy and Fred were super pleasant. We'll be back for sure.

To say our stay at the Wandering Dog exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Cathy and Kevin were wonderful hosts taking care of all our needs from setting up the bbq, providing useful island tips to an exceptional brekkie every morning. Despite COVID restrictions they have thought of everything to make you feel at home.
We had the King Suite in the back and it is very spacious and welcoming. More than enough room for the 2 of us.
Thanks again Cathy and Kevin for making our 3 nights at your Inn so memorable.
