I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately I was disappointed. Firstly the room I was given was rather dark and drably decorated. I had hoped for something rather nicer, but it was very obviously tired and in need of redecoration. Room cleaning was only undertaken on request. I did request, but it didn’t happen. Again, a bit underwhelming. On a more positive note, however the staff were very pleasant, professional and very well drilled in Covid procedures. I only wish the room had lived up to expectations.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We have indeed several room categories at different price level available. All of our rooms have been recently decorated and I am sorry to hear you felt the room wasn’t up to our highest standards. We take great pride in looking after our hotel and the team is the heart and soul of our success. We really look forward to seeing you again soon, warmest regards.

We stayed for 5 nights, a standard room for our daughter with a superior room for ourselves. Both rooms were well appointed and clean - Great shower in superior room. We ate in the Restaurant 3 times, Covid was such that a number of local restaurants were not open. Food was good and reasonable value. Covid restrictions make things difficult but the staff and arrangements in place were appropriate but not intrusive. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Based on our experience there is little to criticise here.

First impressions of our first floor standard room was that it was quite small and a little dark and tired, however the bed and pillows were very comfortable, there was a good shower and we liked the l’occitane toiletries. There was a lot of road noise but I understand there are rooms away from the road which I would request if visiting again. Overall, for the price we paid we were happy.
All staff were friendly and professional and service was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality - would definitely stay again.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for a fabulous weekend stay last weekend 4th-6th.

Once in the room I arrived to a bouquet an champagne. My partner proposed me to me an the hotel had arranged it all. It was perfect.

A big thank you to all the staff who helped arrange this especially Lukaz. I hope I spelt it right!

Can’t wait to come and stay again!

Not sure if they would deliver your breakfast to the room --- but its worth asking. I found them quite willing to go the extra mile for their guests. Have fun!

Does the hotel smell of cigars? I notice there is a cigar smoking room.

I didn't notice any smell it at all....I think I saw the room which had thick double glazing around it so it looked pretty airtight.
