Comfortable vegan bed and breakfast , only one in mainland Scotland and a buisiness well worth supporting. First class breakfast and excellent meals. Very good value. Friendly non intrusive owners, a very good base for visiting Edinburgh or many other local attractions. Very nice vegan touches in the room. Clean and very relaxed.

I had the pleasure of staying here whilst visiting friends in the local area.

A warm welcome from the hosts on arrival. My room for the night had everything (& more) I could possibly need: en suite facilities, towels, robe, slippers, pillow spray hairdryer and a range of toiletries. A fable in the room was set with quaint postcards, notebook & pens and a basket of fruit. The hospitality tray provided a good selection of teas and coffees. For anyone needing to cater for meals a microwave and fridge was available in the room too.

The double bed was very comfortable. I was sorry to only be staying one night and also to leave early the following morning, so didn't take advantage of the breakfast on offer.

Absolutely no hesitation recommending this super-friendly, comfortable and reasonably priced B&B. And one that is Vegan friendly - a rarity!

The best place I've ever been on my Scottish trip by far!
The location is perfect for visiting different places in Scotland. It is next to Dunfermline, a beautiful town with good connections by bus or train. The room would define it as "cozy luxury." There is absolutely everything (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, fruits, snacks, juices, teas... Everything!). The bed is super comfortable,, perfect to rest properly after a busy day. Don't miss the vegan breakfast, delicious!!! The owners are charming, they enjoy doing what they do and make you feel like at home. They are attentive to everything you need, taking care of all the details, while respecting your privacy.
If I return to Dunfermline I have no doubt that I will return to Laburnum House!
