What a dissapoinent. Booked a nice romantic room, while i was on a plane they tried to charge the card (despite the fact I choosed more expensive option to pay on arrival), when landed they cancelled my booking last minute. Tried to rebook but they just replied info that there is noone at the hotel (even it was over an hour before closing the front desk) All in all left me with no room to stay just before midnight. It was meant to be £149 for 4 night and had to find something last minut that cost me over £360. AVOID THAT PLACE
Staff very welcoming - friendly and helpful, especially Ram and the cleaner was excellent - the room was spotless and cleaned daily.
The room was more spacious than I thought it would be.
Outdoor area lovely and there is a communal kitchen so you can use microwave.
Fridge in room. Great wifi.
On arrival it was very confusing - no one there to greet me! You must ring the number on your booking.
The walls are thin! And there is a little noise from street.
Location is 5 min walk from Vatican and 20 min walk to centre.
The price and location are great...but everyhting else was disappointing...the room too small, the breakfast poor and in another building, the recepcionist not very pleasant and the check-in was traumatic, we arrived around 8:30 PM and warned about it, but there wasn't anyone there. Better find somewhere to stay in the wonderful and eternal city.
In June 2015 we made our first visit to the beautiful city of Rome and decided to stay at this hotel. On arrival we were a little upset because there was no one to open the door...We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to arrive. It is important to advise the estimated time of arrival at the hotel to avoid this kind of trouble. We have known 2 peoples from the staff, a boy and a girl whose names I do not remember.....The girl was very friendly and helpful and explained us all the questions we raised. Regarding the breakfast is reasonable, has variety but little choice for those who do not want to eat only sweets ... With regard to cleaning really liked it, nothing negative to point out though on the last day something happened that left me very suspicious. We had the shuttle scheduled for 12pm and we had to check-out until 10 am, so we asked to leave our bags at the hotel while we gave one last tour of the city. When we arrived at 12pm the hotel door was open, as the doors of all the rooms with guests' valuables inside. The cleaning lady had the TV on almost maximum and not given by our entry. we took in our bags, we went to the rooftop waiting for the arrival of the shuttle and no one gave our presence ... did not realize it was one thing that happened exceptionally or if every day was like that, but then it would not feel very safe to leave my bags in the room every time we had to leave .... As for the location is set in a busy and safe area both during the day or overnight. It has several nice restaurants close by. It is relatively close to the Ottaviano metro station and also near Piazza del Risorgimento where several buses stop. It is a few minutes walk from the Vatican and Sant'Angello Castle.
This B&B is within a city building and is quiet, (normal city noises), small set up. Rooms small but clean, new and modern. Are welcome was friendly and the room was ours all day bar when needed for its daily clean etc... Breakfast is minimal but enough to get going for the day coffee good. If you want to suggest other things to eat you just need to ask :-) Staff were friendly and plenty advise on visiting sites, shopping etc... For the price a great B&B in a excellent location just 5 to 10 mins from the vatican, away from the main centre and on the high street for shopping with a market just 10 mins away for fresh fruit picks for the day. Will be returning in late Autumn. If your looking for a fair priced B&B to explore the city from go for it...
