We only stayed for one night because we had 24h between flights.
The location is perfect, just around the corner from city centre so it was nice and quiet.
Room was big and the bathroom even bigger 😂
Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Service was nice and friendly, when they saw that we are not used to eat sweets in the morning, they even offered us some ham from under the counter. 😂
Coffee was also delicious!
The little stylish details were also nice.

The walls could be a little thicher, all sounds came through.

After w protracted booking process, I eventually managed to reserve a room for 3 nights for early April. I asked Dario, who I assume is the owner, over the phone, for confirmation of my reservation, which was not forthcoming. So I sent him a text, and I received this quite clear response (by text) :
“Hello David ok i confirm your booking. The price is 60 euro for night .
See you soon
Dario”
2 days later, I received the following text message:
“Hello i am sorry but your booking is cancellated to overbooking.
Best regards
Dario”

Now what sort of organisation does such a lousy let down? This hotel does not deserve custom from decent people. Absolutely diabolical.

Big and nice room. Clean room. Italian espresso is perfect. So good location. City center, funicular to old city, train station and stop to airport bus is a few minutes by walk.
The staff is kind and friendly.

I stayed here for a couple of nights in May, and it was all good. The room and bathroom were both good sizes and they were both spotlessly clean. The breakfast was basic (hey, it's a small b&b so it was appropriate), the breakfast room was good and the location was grand. I suppose it depends on what you want to do as to whether the location suits you, it was a quite area, but still not too far from anything.
But the best bit? It was Dario the wonderful host. He greeted me so warmly and was so friendly and helpful that it was just lovely. I also had such a laugh with him while I was there as, although he was fluent in English, he couldn't understand my accent. It was pure comedy and we both thought it was funny and ended up laughing more than understanding each other!
A great stay which I'd recommend. Thanks Dario! :)
