The staff here could not have been more helpful. The rooms were well equipped and they let me check in at 07.00, hours before normal. They have a restaraunt on site, which I used many times. They also opened up at 05.00 so that I could have some cereal before I took my early flight to London. It is also walking distance from the city centre and the viewing point.

I've travelled to 30 countries around the world, many of them in developing countries and this is by far the worst experience I've had. I stayed there for my first night of an Intrepid Tour and was extremely disappointed. The room smelt of smoke from a fire burning in the slum next door, the bathroom was very dirty, the window next to the front entrance wouldn't lock. I asked 3 staff to have it fixed but no one ever came. There is a electrical circuit breaker right next to the shower head which didn't seem very safe. There are no fans and the room got quite warm. You can't leave the window open due to all the noise from the slum next door and from the sound music from the bar. Food from the restaurant is average at best and a simple lamp burger took over 1hr and 20 minutes to arrive despite there only being myself and 2 other people in the restaurant at the time. The staff are lovely but that's about the only thing this place has going for it.

Thank you for taking your precious time to share your experience during your stay with us. We are sorry for the slum experience. It is a little bit of an issue with us. We have tried several times to address the matter with the relevant authorities but the pace seems slow, though the process still continuous. All the others parting in house have been adequately addressed. Thank you for raising the same.

I stayed here for one night after my Intrepid tour.
Pros:
- bed comfortable, big room, hot shower

Cons:
- tv lost its signal often
- I found that the food was average at restaurant for dinner (pizza had no flavor)
- wi-fi sometimes worked well, but not reliable
- I asked at reception for hairdrier, there was none
- I asked for toilet paper since there was hardly any left in the room. They said they would send someone up but the person never showed up
- I booked a transfer to the airport for the following morning. The transfer was on time; however, for the price I paid (25$ USD), I would have expected a better service. The driver had its music running loudly in the car, window rolled down even though it was cold, and made a stop at a gas station on the way to the airport. He should have thought to refuel before taking me.

In conclusion, this hotel was ok for one night but I don't think I would stay there again.

We thank and appreciate you for sharing your concerns during your stay with us. We are sorry that there some hiccups which made your stay not a very memorable one. TV and WiFi signals vary at times this being an issue from our service providers. Maybe our hairdryers were in use, we don't keep many but we have made an effort to add some for the comfort of our guests. About, the toilet paper lapse, we are sorry, the transfer to the airport; you could have informed the driver that you were not comfortable, he could have adjusted to your requests, though we don't have control over to this, they operate independently. Thank you for your review as it helps us to serve you better.

The room was large and bed was comfortable. The bathroom a little stained and not the greatest of showers but again clean. The neighbours can at times be noisey for a period but did not spoil our stay. All the staff were great, friendly and made us feel welcome. About a 20 minute walk into town which did multiple times during the day without any problems.
Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We thank you for sparing your time to share your experience during your stay with us. Noise from our neighbors is as is,we have taken the issue up with regulating authorities the process seems to be slow, but by and large weekdays are calm. We also have a policy of room change depending on occupancy by bringing it to the attention of our duty manager. Thank you.

We spent a night at the Comfort Suite and also spent a good 3 hours at the spa getting a 90 minute treatment (scrub, sauna and Swedish massage) + a mani/pedi for myself. The spa was great - it was a modest setup with excellent service by Vincent and Elizabeth. They really took the time with the mani/ pedi to massage and scrub my hands / feet and were very thorough in the Swedish massage. Thank you both for a very relaxing end to my stay in Kenya!

The rooms themselves are average but you get what you pay for. The staff are attentive and helpful, minding our bags on our last day. The wifi often seemed to be down which was incredibly frustrating. The food service was also slow- our food arrived cold but it was okay overall. It’s a comfortable experience but the spa was well worth visiting if you have some down time.

Thanks for you review. Great that we met your expectation in our spa. WiFi will be at times strong and weak, this is purely from our service providers. We don't have much control though we have diversified their services from various providers to avoid complete blackout. Thanks for your honest review.
