Pool review highlights
Closest hotel near my family. Clean room. The staff members were the most helpful people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel! Will definitely be back! Outdoor pool closed and looked small. Parking lot and neighborhood felt very safe. Convenience store and a couple restaurants nearby.
great value, great staff. Loved having the pool and next to places you can walk to for food. Cleaning staff did a great job and the front desk was always so friendly and helpful. We would stay again. Even saw deer one morning!
... they always did a good job. There is a dishwasher, full size fridge and a two burner stove. It has all the comforts of home in it. The outdoor pool is really nice and always clean. The maintenance woman is really nice and sweet every single time I had a problem here she always had fixed it...

I have been here for a while now since January 1st and I have to say a lot of the staff are really friendly. I want to give Monica from the front desk a shout out because whatever I needed she was always helpful and always has a smile on her face. The manager there Lomesh is a real tool. He isn't really friendly and and is a lot of times short with the customers and rude. The few times I had to deal with him, I didn't like him. The housekeeping there is really good. Once a week my room got cleaned and they always did a good job. There is a dishwasher, full size fridge and a two burner stove. It has all the comforts of home in it. The outdoor pool is really nice and always clean. The maintenance woman is really nice and sweet every single time I had a problem here she always had fixed it within a day. The only thing I would say is never do your laundry on a weekend because they only have two washers and two dryers and seems like they are always used in the weekend. During the week I never had a problem doing my laundry. There is a convenience store and three restaurants ( taco place, pizza place and a burger joint) in walking distance, the food is really good at all the places. I would definitely stay here again when needed the sum of my review it's a really good hotel it's clean and the staff is friendly I would just always deal with a Monica from the front desk with all my problems.

I don't understand the negative reviews; this place is fine, especially for the money you pay. It's reasonably priced for what you get. Nothing special, just a good clean place to stay in a reasonably safe part of town.

The desk clerk was very friendly, there was no excessive noise (and we stayed on a Saturday night); everything worked as it should (even the bathroom fan).

Features included a nice big full-size refrigerator, kitchen with a two burner stove, microwave and sink. There was a nice flatscreen TV, love seat, an air-conditioner with a digitally controlled thermostat, bathroom with a fan and an adjustable showerhead. The bed was quite comfortable. No coffee maker, but it did have a nice clock radio.

No bugs or mold or filth some have reported. We did find some hair on the shower curtain, but otherwise, it was very clean.

I didn't partake of the breakfast; it looked to be just muffins and juice and coffee... nothing fancy. I don't think there's a pool or anything, except there was a basic but adequate exercise room.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, just a good clean comfortable place to stay a day or two. For the price, especially in Austin, you can't beat it.

Unkempt, unfriendly, security doors to outside not working. Told at check-in that they didn't have any non-smoking rooms available, so they put me in a smoking room. I started coughing immediately, so I returned to the desk to explain that I have COPD and couldn't stay in that room. Well, they suddenly found me a non-smoking room. Additionally, in the middle of a very hot Texas summer, their pool is outdoors in the open sun with no umbrellas or shade. No cooking/eating utensils in the room.

I've stayed at other extended stay chains and was always pleased. Not so, here. I won't return to an Extended Stay America. Maybe it was the specific management; maybe not. Maybe other ESA facilities are great, but I'm not going to chance it. This was overall a bad experience.

Your review for our hotel was recently brought to my attention. Please accept my apologies that my staff was not able to accommodate you with a non-smoking room at your first request. I will be meeting with my team to discuss customer service standards to ensure that this treatment does not occur again. As well, I do apologize that our pool did not meet your needs and that our security doors were not working. I will be meeting with my maintenance staff to repair the doors, and I will pass on your comments about the pool to upper management. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly, at asa@extendedstay.com, should you wish to discuss this further. We do hope you will choose to stay with us again so we can have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience.
