I’ve stayed there for two days. The location is perfect (neighbor Ibirapuera) close to the park, gymnasium, restaurants, and about 800m from a beautiful shopping center (May 13th). The room was clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of channels to watch. It offers good breakfast with a great variety of different options for fresh food. The hotel has two restaurants: one with Japanese food and other with Brazilian food.

I've been at this hotel for a one night stay, it has a good location nearby the Paulista Ave and metro stations.

This hotel is quite old and bedrooms may need a renovation but they're very comfortable with a good bed and a japanese style bathroom.

Staff is very good and they have a good breakfast with some japanese items such as gohan and misso soup.

I do recommend this hotel but there is another cheaper options with the same great quality.

I stayed at the Matsubara Hotel from the 9-11 of October and I left my cellphone in my hotel room, inside the safe, room 1604.
After so many failed attempts, they never replied my emails and calls. The lost and found department closes on weekends? and during the week they only open till 4pm. A week has passed and today the 18th, I decided to put an end to this mystery. I called the hotel and spoke with at least 4 employees. I was disconnected 4 times and the manager was never available to talk to me. After speaking with one very rude employee by the name of Jones, he finally gave me the manager's email. Mr, Helio, by the way his last name was not given to me, received my email but never replied.
It's been extremely frustrating to deal with them. This ordeal has lasted a whole week and no one showed any kind of empathy. This is a work cellphone. I will have to pay $200 dollars to my company because of it. I am still waiting for a message, an email, a phone call, smoke sign anything.

Very good place to stay, spacious room, very nice breakfast,on a good location, subway is some blocks away, wifi was good and staff provided a very nice service..

They have Yoga practices at the hotel, that is great, but was there at the weekend and was not able to join the class.

Better the rates for the weekend, during week could not find good rates to stay.
