We a group of 23 checked in to this property from 01.03.2020 to 02.03.2020. The check in was quite smooth and it took hardly 10 minutes to get in to the room. We were occupying Cottage No:B-3. The room was well updated with clean bed sheets and towels and the bath room provisions are basic. The complimentary wi-fi system was absolutely not up to the standard. The property also provides a small poll along with sit out areas near the poll.
The food and breakfast was quite basic and being an Indian we didn't find much pleasure with the food although the F&B Manager Mr. N.Thusantha Perera tried his level best to provide us the best of services.
The only problem with the rooms were the mosquitos, although the hotel provide nets and mosquito repellants but its not sufficient.
Overall a nice stay in a good property and would certainly recommend.
Small kind of boutique hotel with small outdoor pool and WiFi (that works). Breakfast and dinner buffet are quite basic. Room ok, but many many mosquitos everywhere. Drinks are significantly overpriced, compared to other hotels.
We had a spacious room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good shower and two chairs in front looking out on the garden. Diner is good and tasty, especially the local dishes, which we favour. The second evening a buffet was prepared with enough variety of typical Sri Lankan dishes.
Service is excellent. It must be mentioned that staff does a good job to accommodate the guests wishes to its best. Always friendly and helpful in a genuine way, especially Rilwan, who is very keen in giving his guests a nice evening. When time permits he did not avoid a conversation to have us feel at home and welcome. We stayed two nights with an interval of three nights in Jaffna and -surprised as he was to see us back after 3 nights - he still remembered our likes/dislikes in food and drinks. Although still a trainee, he is an asset to the staff.
Stayed two nights in a superior double room. AC was not working properly and had to change rooms. Not a pleasant start. Towels looks tired.
Breakfast was basic. Served dry toast. Due to the size of the plate food didn’t look appealing. Blinking bulbs on the ceiling. Staff needs training. Specially the security staff.
Watch out for non venomous rat snakes. Saw two of them. One near our room and a huge one near the pool. We were told that there are many more around. Even though the rat snakes are not dangerous should attend to this issue promptly.
All in all it wasn't a pleasant stay.
One of the useful hotel in Anuradhapura.no proper car parking and very poor hospitality.that security person doesn’t no what is the valuable of customer. Too much mosquito and flies in the room.can not recommend this hotel.
