Room was decent in size to accommodate a small family.
The bed was super king-size and we could rest after a day of activities.
Location was very near to the Sangam point.

Food was good and the staff were very helpful and cordial.
Need little maintenance and the hotel can be better.
TV and phone signal not working so we were free from the outside world and spent some quality time.

We chose a June weekend to stay at Mayura Sangama. The hotel is located bang at the confluence of Arkavati and Cauvery. So, you are right at the tourist spot. The reason one would stay at the hotel is to be able to enjoy the evening and morning where there are no crowds and the whole place is empty. The sunset at Sangama is quite pretty. The hotel itself is quite basic. Restaurant serves limited menu and the food is average. Place has limited parking. The staff is quite courteous and helpful. The rooms are average and our nonAC room did not have functional cable. The hotel and the restaurant are separate buildings with the road separation them. BTW, there is no phone or internet coverage in the area and the hotel has no WiFi. Mekedatu, which is across the river is a beautiful place and well worth a visit. Staying at the hotel helped us visit it when the crowds had thinned. However, don't wait till too late as the bus service kind of thins out nearer to the evening. All in all we enjoyed the stay. Don't expect luxury and just enjoy the natural beauty.
