Brunswick Bed & Breakfast is a hidden gem in bustling London! We often stay here when visiting the UK. Conveniently located on the bus route and a short walk from 'Kingston upon Thames' where there are lots of great restaurants and good shopping. Very close to Richmond Park, which is great if you want to stretch your legs after a long flight and get some fresh air!

Our bedroom located on the top floor was private, spacious and tastefully furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom is spotless with a beautiful free standing bath and walk in shower.

Harriet is the perfect host and was always very helpful with recommendations of things to do and see nearby. A Cott & high chair was available for our young son which was a huge help!

The hosts were friendly, the room was very clean & homely and the breakfast was good. In a good location close to bus and rail. Also, close to Kingston hill uni where I had an interview.

Wifi signal in the top floor bedroom wasn't very good (Hosts would need to buy a signal booster).
The milk in the bedroom for tea/coffee was out of date last year so no cuppa tea before bed :-(

Hospitable easy going hosts. Harriet made you feel very welcome, just like staying with friends. Stayed three nights. Short easy drive to New Victoria hospital where I was visiting family member. Short walk to Kingston High Street and convenient for public transport. During day parking charge but not excessive. Large comfortable bedroom. Good bed and nice linen. Slept really well. Huge bathroom with excellent shower opposite or next to bedroom. Tourists from abroad would see a glimpse of a traditional English home/family. I know my American friends would love it. Glad I stayed here, would stay again.

I stayed here for six nights while visiting my daughter at Kingston University's Kingston Hill campus. Harriet was a pleasant, though not overbearing, host. She was very helpful with directions and suggestions for local attractions. My room was large, well-equipped, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and quite generous. The house is a block away from bus stops for heading into town or up the hill, but it's also a nice walk into town in good weather. Be aware they only take cash and both rooms are on the third floor--which was not a problem for me but might be for someone else.

B&B was perfect and had character - much nicer than bland chain hotels.

Booking was easy - Harriet replied almost immediately to emails - and the welcome was warm.
The room was spacious and had everything needed. Breakfast in the morning was really good.

Ideal accommodation if you want to stay close to Kingston - Norbiton is nearest station.
