Just got back from an overnight staycation at the Old Town Inn. We got a great deal on the Jacuzzi Suite, probably the lowest cost jacuzzi room in the city while maintaining quality standards.
The room was very comfortable, spacious yet quaint. Everything was extremely clean. The fireplace is a nice added touch, everything had clear operating instructions and it well was laid out in proper view.
Only downside to this room is the wifi was incredibly slow. I brought some media devices and the internet was not fast enough to stream YouTube. It was a minor inconvenience.
The location of the room is all the way in the corner of the hotel, it was nice not having to deal with neighbors all around, they did a great job making it as private as possible.
Overall I would go again. Thanks for the stay.
This was a great little find! The hotel was beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pricing was reasonable. We were also delighted at the location of our room, with a lovely view of the pool. Unfortunately our stay coincided with the Coronavirus outbreak, with California effectively being locked down. Despite these circumstances the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we hope that the staff stay safe and healthy at this difficult time.
Very friendly staff. A very welcome atmosphere when you walk into the lobby. The Inn is lovely and is located within walking distance of Old Town San Diego and is very easy to get to by car. Parking in the Inn parking lot was not a problem for us. The room was very clean and comfortable but the hair conditioner container on the wall in the shower was empty, the heat didn't seem to work, and although housekeeping brought us towels, they didn't hang them up-which we found strange. I would definitely stay at this Inn again and I recommend it to others,
The location is very good. We heard trumpets at sunset from the Marine Camp nearby. It's only a couple of miles to SeaWorld. The room was clean and water pressure just fine. The walls are thin, as we heard snoring next door. The air conditioner was a wall unit and noisy, but I always bring ear plugs with me. The free breakfast was fine, with waffle makers, crustless quiche, good oatmeal and hardboiled eggs in additional to usual cereal and danish.
Great Service and great hotel room! They people are the front desk were really helpful when it came to figuring out stuff to do in San Diego. Also the rooms were very clean and well furnished. I would definitely come back again.
