Thought I'd write a review to heap praise on Chuchi y Mamita (and their daughter Marjey) for a wonderful stay in their home. The rental space has a great layout with two bedrooms, private bath, a sitting room, dining area, and kitchen. There is a small fridge fully stocked with bottled water, soda, beer, and wine - all of which was fairly priced. The entire space can be closed off from the rest of the house, if you wish. In addition, the front door leads to a nice covered porch with rocking chairs that we enjoyed. Everything was super clean, and the shower plenty warm. The most amazing place to spend your time, however, is on the rooftop terrace. We ate most of our meals up there (Chuchi is a fantastic cook - better than any meal we had in town), and once the sun set we enjoyed wine with a crystal clear view of the Milky Way - so many stars.

We had our two children with us (3 and 5), who were treated as family, and had a great time playing with Mr. Chuchi. The whole family was fantastic with us and our children, even when they were a bit rambunctious in the house. None of us speak great spanish, but the language of hospitality made that a non-issue. In addition, Marjey speaks fluent English and translated anything we needed. What else? They set up a taxi that picked us up at the airport and made travel to their home very easy, and also took us to Habana Vieja for the second portion of our trip. They also arranged a horseback tour of the valley for us, which was awesome. We brought toy cars, little dolls, glow bracelets and other small things as gifts for the children of Cuba. They ended up being a great ice-breaker, and our kids ended up playing with the neighboring children for hours - none of them able to converse with each other, but a night filled with laughter, fun, and priceless memories all the same.

Stay at this house with this lovely family. You won't be disappointed. We look forward to our return some day.

Our family enjoyed every minute of our three days with Chuchi and Mamita. There are so many casa particulares in Vinales it can be hard to choose, but look no further. the location is perfect- a short walk to town, but off the main street and away from the traffic.Their beautiful terrace overlooks both the town and an amazing view of the mogotes and valley. Chuchi and Mamita were lovely every minute and very helpful. We appreciated that the room had its own small living room area, so there was privacy, but we saw the hosts throughout the day as we went up and down to the terrace. Breakfast was nice and very filling, we had one dinner there where Chuchi barbequed chicken, and it was our best meal in Vinales. They helped organize tours and taxis, and were very sweet to our young children. Highly recommended and we would love to go back.

Lovely self-contained room with kitchen in Chuchi y Mamita's casa. Fabulous roof terrace with beautiful views. This is a short walk from the town where you can find restaurants and bars.

We had dinner at the casa one evening and it was truly delicious - one of our best meals in Cuba. Chuchi makes great cocktails (get a pina colada). Breakfast was lovely. The family were warm, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Everything was good. the bed, the room, the bathroom. Breakfast and Dinner was also amazing. But the best is the view due to the scenery from the rooftop terrace. Located at the edge of the village but still within a 5 minute walk from Cadeca(bank), bars, market and the central street of Viñales.
