We stayed one night at this motel on a wet, cold & windy day. The welcome was happy & helpful, the studio unit was warm, bright with very comfy beds. Unlike many units this one had glasses, cutlery & all the items to prepare a meal. Each studio room had a small outside terrace with chairs. The bathroom was large... More

We got this room on a great Grab One deal for a two night stay - we went out on the mail boat and had a night either side. The soa suite was comfortable, and nice gift of a bottle of wine as part of the deal. I have only one grumble around the video player, we thought we take... More

I've stayed here before so I knew what I was in for, but it never fails to impress. I wanted to watch the recent meteor shower and the skies are pretty clear in Havelock. My spa suite was super comfortable and the heater had been switched on prior to my arrival (it was a very cold night so I appreciated... More

Stayed for two nights at the end of May either side of a mailboat cruise. We had a one bedroom spa unit. The bed was very comfortable and even though the motel was on the main road there wasn't a lot of road noise. You could hear it but it wasn't too loud. The bathroom was large, clean and modern... We stayed here in a group for the night and were offered several options of rooms. Our room was a Studio, room 'H' but had a kind bed in it whereas the others were queen. The lady who answered the phone when I made the booking kindly put us in this particular room when I mentioned my husband is very... More

This is a classic example of you get what you pay for. A cheap but not so cheerful hotel where the taps drip, the toilet runs after flushing & there's not even a holder for your soap in the shower. The claim is a self contained apartment, but in reality the kitchenette is so small you can't turn around &... More

What a great little place. Very clean and comfortable with a newly fitted out room. We had a beautiful dinner at the Restaurant in the Captains Daughter pub. If you need cash and have foreign atm cards, bring it with you as the only working atm in town takes only NZ cards.

Our group of 12 stayed here for one night while exploring Marlborough. Even though it is on the main road, there was no road noise. The rooms were clean and spacious. Fantastic pool area. Very friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants close by, also a bakery and a 4 Square. And all at a very good price

We spent 5 nights at this motel, and found it to be very clean and tidy. The ladies I delt with in the office were very helpful and pleasant. Would definately recommend this as a place to stay as it is in walking distance of all places you might like to visit, ie a recently opened cafe, gallery, restaurant and... More

Had one night there while touring. Nice spacious room, clean etc. Location good for restaurants. We ate at the great Muscle Pot Restaurant which is pretty much just over the road from here. There is a small pool which was nice and warm according to my wife who tried it.We found the price was reasonable too. Able to park right... More
