We spent 2 nights at this very nice hotel. Everything about it we enjoyed. The room is well set up and comfortable with a nice balcony. The food was good and views across a stunning Valley perfect. Added to this the staff made us feel right at home. This is a very good hotel in an delightful village.

We stayed here for a night on a recent cycling tour of southern Italy. The hotel was fine, but not really special. The hotel was pretty empty except for our group. We had dinner at the hotel, which I thought was quite good. Breakfast the next morning was not as hearty as I would have liked, but pretty typical for... More

Good location, and nice modern room with a balcony with wonderful views down the valley and across to Piertrapertosa. A little difficult to find (there was only a very small sign on the wall outside), and there were hardly ever any staff at reception or in the bar - it was early in the season but the hotel seemed deserted.... This hotel turned out to be one of the favourites of our trip, mainly due to the service and the comfortable room, complete with balcony overlooking the valley and Pietropertosa. I have to say the shower was very small, so if you are a well built person you might have difficulty squeezing in!! There were not many guests in midweek... More

Castellmezano is a great place to visit... like a Macchu Picchu in Italy. The same goes (even more so) for its neighbor, Pietrapertosa. This hotel is just that... a hotel. A surprising, typical, minibar hotel in this rustic setting. Odd, but comfortable enough for my wife and 11 year old son. We had a small twin bed on one side... More

An incredible experience for us and our guests, views, comfort, etc. We are always warmly greeted by the Price of Castelmezzano who provides us with excellent service. The meals are an exceptional gastronomical experience prepared with the days fresh picks, by the Regina herself, Antonietta, and her family. We can't wait to go back!

We booked here in September and arrived as planned in the evening. The hotel is fairly easy to find, about half-way up the road to the main piazza, on the right. It is little more than a door-way with the hotel sign, so keep your eyes peeled, especially if you are driving. When we arrived, the door was locked but... More

First if all, Castelmezzano is the most beautiful "borgo" where I went for a run. The running route can be seen from the terrace of this gorgeous hotel: you open the window of you room and the Dolomite are right there! The view is stunning, the room very comfortable, the restaurant connected to the hotel is a culinary experience and... More

One of the roads to the town is blocked at present but we got there eventually. Hotel is actually easy to spot if you know the Italian sign for inns. Plain room but comfortable and a balcony overlooking the view which is stunning. Lovely dinner in the hotel with good wine. Car parking easy nearby. Very helpful staff. Great and... More

Amazing town but little choice of accommodation. This hotel was fairly basic but clean and the views form the rooms and terrace amazing. We had a room on the bottom floor, level 1 and reception was level 5. Unfortunately no wifi at all down at level 1 and we had to go to level 3, restaurant or the reception or... More

“If WIfi is important to you in your room, ask for room on fourth floor, as I understand the signal is better up there. The hotel is built into the side of a cliff, so lower floors might have problems.”

“THis hotel is upside down... reception is on the fifth floor, we got a room down on the first floor. For a better view, and better breezes, ask for a room as high as possible. Oh, there is an elevator... so that's great.”

“Don't expect luxury here, but more than adequate and superb position. Ask for a room where you can get wifi if this is important to you.”

“All rooms are good I think.... The rooms are down from the lobby level as the hotel drops down the slope from the street. The dining room is on the third floor...lobby on 5. Be careful about parking!! We got a EUR 41 parking ticket after we were told it was perfectly okay to park just down from the hotel!”
