Had a fantastic overnight stay for my Birthday. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were taken to our room which had the biggest bed I've ever seen!! Very comfortable too and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was gorgeous and has certainly set us up for the day. Will definitely be back!!!

Walking through the front door is like stepping back into a previous era, and that's no bad thing. A friendly greeting, and wide, sweeping staircase up to our room (number 7) which was spacious and comfortable, with large bed and 2 armchairs. The en-suite bathroom was also large with a modern bath and shower and lots of little extras such...

Wish we could stay here every weekend, just so gorgeous. A most relaxing Saturday break. The room was beautiful, comfortable and so quiet. Fabulous village views from the bedroom window. The lounge is cosy with the lovely fire and fine furnishings. Service excellent. Meal in the restaurant on Saturday night was delicious. Pheasant moist, tasty steak. Starters and puddings great....

We walked down from our accommodation elsewhere in Warkworth for an evening meal late in December. We had booked a table and were shown straight in. The menu was fairly limited, possibly due to the time of year, but we both found dishes we liked (even though my wife is a vegetarian) and they were served quickly. The food was...

On arrival we were greeted very well and despite not being able to offer any meal, it being a Monday and we were warned prior to our arrival on this, the front of house lady gave us fruit from the dining room to take to our room. At first glance and because we had come a long way the room...
