Excellent place to stay. Lovely pub style hotel. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was the best I've had in the Lakes and our whole stay was excellent value for money. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

You can access the lake very easily, a 10/15 minute walk. But a slightly longer walk to get to an area where you can walk and/or sit by the shore. It is a big lake.
