Excellent position on the north of the Western Lakes, close to A66. Bassenthwaite lake is just round the corner, and it's beautiful. About 5 miles out of Keswick. Staff seemed nice. Can heartily recommend Sunday lunch there !
First of all, this hotel was not in Keswick - it's a good 15 minute drive to Keswick town. We probably got the worst room in the hotel (possibly because we booked via hotels.com). It was damp, dim, dated and the toilet malfunctioned multiple times....More
