Terrible experience with the operator of this hotel. We booked a number of rooms through July and were told only a few weeks before that the hotel would not be open. I understand a tour operator had the contract for Galatea sea palace for the last year and it is the tour operator (bagaglino hotel and resorts) that is the... More

The only problem with this hotel is the STAFF. Extremely rude and not nice people. More specifically the staff in the kitchen. They are so noisy and never let people eat in peace. They always want to be in the center of attention which is not what a 4-star hotel should be like. The staff tries to kick you out... More

We stayed here and had an amazing time. We traveled there for the San Giovanni Festival held in June. We rented two of the family residences and they were comfortable and spacious. It is a bit of a distance to the quaint town of Acitrezza, and would recommend renting a car or hiring a driving service to escort you around... More

The hotel is located not so far way from the old town of Acitrezza, although you do need a car to reach it. Of course if you are prepared to take a 30 minutes walk one way (uphill included), you can try, but do not recommend it. Having a car it was very easy to reach lots of restaurants, lounge... More

We stayed in the Hotel part of Galatea Sea Palace. The facilities were great, bedrooms were very large and service was generally very good. Breakfast is adequate but limited. Decking area leading out to the sea was lovely. Swimming pool too small for amount of people and in general too many children! This is a place for families and we... More

Our accommodation and parking was safe.Nice and big enough room but without view. When we booked the room it was mentioned one double bed or two single beds so we asked for a double bed.We did not imagine that the double bed would be two single beds pushed together. We do not know if Italian are used to call a double... Was a wonderful relaxing stay , Just before the season started . Get a room with ocean view. Many wonderful fish restaurants in the area. Suggest renting a car or scooter day trip to Syracuse. Rooms are large and clean with modern bathrooms / only breakfast could improve however normal for Italy. Add some fresh juice / fruit

The rooms were very comfortable but the corridors had this thick carpet that was very old and smelly, we could hear everything form the other rooms, satisfactory breakfast, and very nice view.
