Beautiful wedding venue, fantastic grounds. Food was served well, good quality and hot. Professional and friendly staff. A few negatives- no toiletries or hair dryer in the rooms, poor quality coffee. A few small things improved like that would take the quality up to the...More
The worst customer service experience we have experienced. Extremely unhelpful on the ‘phone, including failure to respond by email or return phone calls about our booking. I am surprised that it attracts any business and not to be recommended. A very poor example of customer...More

In answer to your question, as the building is approx 400 years old, there Is a good solid stair case to access first floor, no lift or chairlift, doubtful this would be at all possible due to age of property. Rooms although large enough do have floors which over age have settled and are now slightly inclined.
In addition, acess to bathroom facilities would be very difficult for wheelchair access due to size( our bathroom was quite small) , this would make life difficult for walking stick users too; far too many shelves, obstacles on the floor. Hope this helps.
