A group of 12+ spent a 3 night break at the Celtic Ross. 5 of us cycling and the remainder hiking around West Cork. Hotel gave an initial impression of being friendly establishment, the impression validated during our stay. Staff at reception, breakfast and evening dining and bar were friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable,...

We stayed here over the easter weekend and overall it was excellent. The family room we were given was fine, very spacious. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. We just had one issue and that was with the 'kids club'. We put our two girls into the club on the two nights we were there. On the second night...

We didn't stay here but we chose the Celtic Ross to spend some time on Sunday and had the carvery lunch, it was good, the choice was meat, fish or vegetarian with plenty of fresh veg, water was available for all tables and waitress service for tea/coffee, the restaurant seating area is large and the tables at the window have...

We recently spent a glorious family weekend at the Celtic Ross. We had booked the interconnecting rooms and our two children slept in one. The rooms were extremely spacious, bright and well decorated. They also had a magnificent water view. Our only gripe with the rooms was the fact that they are situated directly across from the cleaning/laundry rooms. The...

I took my mother for lunch recently in the Celtic Ross Hotel and we were not dissappointed. It was quite busy. It was a nice day and people were sitting outside . We had a beautiful meal and it was quite reasonable. The staff were nice and friendly.

It had been many years since I stayed in the celtic Ross hotel,it used to have an old style very large sports bar which I loved and was looking forward to drinking in,alas it no longer exists,it's been replaced by a characterless food bar, with a permanent draft running through it everytime somebody walks in. The breakfast room and breakfast itself...

Stayed for just one night, availed of an offer online.Nice hotel, with great sea views to the front. Our room was large, well equipped, and had a sea view,as requested. While we had everything we needed, felt the decor was a bit tired. Dining was bistro style, and our meal was superb. Our waitress,Shauna, was friendly and polite. Breakfast was buffet style,no...

Stayed on a Lidl break package last weekend so obviously got a room to the rear of hotel which i have no issue with. However, the room was freezing cold when we got in at 7pm on Fri pm. Had to keep my coat on while I unpacked. Mentioned it at reception and were told without any concern when heating...
