I booked when there were at least five rooms left and on our arrival found we were in the furthest room away although I should have asked to be in a more accessible room as I do have mobility problems. There were cleaning issues such as hand stains around the door handles and the toilet roll was partially used -...

We have had a lovely stay at the Cook & Barker in the Cook Suite. The room was beautiful with a large monsoon shower and a deep bath in the room. The furnishings and decor were beautiful. However for such a lovely suite I would definitely expect better quality linens and duvet and pillows. The pillows and duvet were very...

Party of 5 for lunch we all had the 2 course £10 option and it was excellent as was the Pint of Black sheep well worth a visit. Would recommend the mixed grill and the cheesecake Great log fire which warmed the whole bar. We will return.

Well worth a visit. This is a lovely traditional country pub with great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is great and such a variety on the menu. Great value. It has s large car park and also some lovely bedrooms for those who want to stay overnight.

I was at the New Years Eve event. Great night, fantastic food, great service, lovely rooms including a cosy fire lit bar. Food was great and we were entertained by a lovely and very talented singer. Would definately recommend this venue.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the Xmas period..2016 Having eaten here many times including having a 90 birthday party for 20 guests last year, we decided to try the accommodation as well. We were not disappointed... the refurbished room in the annex was delightful and could not be faulted apart from a noisy room above us where we...

First, it's out of the way a bit, so if you're driving you'll not be able to sample too much of the very decent range of real ales, or the rather good selection on the restaurant wine list. Shame, however your partner will have a great time. Christmas menu, not bad. Well priced and very tasty from what I saw...

Rooms very clean and warm (was -3 one of the nights 😱) although just happens a large party in attendance both nights we stayed no noise in rooms at all. Rooms were spacious and modern in decoration different to the traditional...

Came here for lunch whilst visiting friends who suggested it. When we walked in we could tell we were going to like it as the decor was just what we liked. The menu was large and we were pleased to see several game dishes. We opted for a game dish and were impressed how beautiful the food looked on the...
