We came as a summer tradition with this being our 5th year; we took many family members and friends with us 5 cabins full! Right from the get go this stay was different. The rooms were all musty and had a smell and it was consistent for 4 of the 5 cabins we had booked; the owners were incredibly rube...

We stayed at this campground last week-end. It was a perfect little spot.Well kept and clean. There was a small playground for the kids and you could walk down to the river. Also very quiet.Firewood available to buy at reasonable price. There was an above ground pool that was very clean. I would recommend this campground.

We go to this campground all the time, mainly were staying in the cottages, but now we got our own camper and can't wait to come here for the 2016 season! Very clean place, pool is nice and big. Two little playgrounds for kids, a huge open field, find it very friendly and welcoming. Location is very close to a...

This is our 5th summer staying here and we love it! We've been campers and cottagers both. Each summer Lori has been very accommodating in getting us a a site or cottage even though I haven't given her much notice. She is quick to respond and so very patient. The cottages we've stayed in are comfortable and equipped enough to...

Skydiving, river rafting and kayaking, zip lining, Upper Clements adventure park (like Treego) and Action Jax where they have human sized hamster balls, and a fantastic zoo (Oaklawn Farm) all in one week! I opted for...

Pros: Large, open sites, good rates for group camping, flexible to moving sites if not full, constructing new entertainment stage. good river access, scenic views, pool Cons: Washrooms are dated, showers aren't located within the main washrooms, water for showers fluctuated between hot and cold on its own, bathrooms were far from majority of campsites, lots of mud due to...

Vidito Family Campground is a large complex of permanent cabins, permanently parked camper vans and Winnebagos, tenting or trailer sites and motel style rooms. It has an above ground outdoor pool (for kids!)..and the Cornwallis River runs around the outside of the tenting property. It is very popular with the Nova Scotian rural locals.. and is run like a big...

“Back from the driveway is best and a bit shadier. Tent sites as far from the drive are best..watch for low areas if the weather is wet.”
