We wanted an overnight stay on the way to Land's End and found Beechgrove through Tripadvisor. Jane and Richard were pleasant to deal with and extremely competent. The room was superbly comfortable and the bathroom would be outstanding in a good hotel. Our dinner and breakfast were tasty, well presented and in the case of breakfast, very sustaining. We very...

We very much enjoyed your visit, and hope your holiday further on in in deepest West Cornwall encourages you to visit the county again- this area too has much to offer, from moors to coast, and as walkers there is a huge choice of landscapes to enjoy. Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review, which is...

Needed to stay in Launceston for work so wanted to find accommodation near to where I was working. I checked out the reviews for Beechgrove b/b, they seemed too good to be true so decided to book. Jane & Richard made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived, showed me to my room, it was actually just like...

How lovely to have such a warm recommendation from a business woman visiting the area- the private secure suite offers a great environment for women travelling alone to relax in comfort and security, with some pampering in our luxury new bathroom, so we are thrilled that this lady enjoyed her visit! Thanks for your kind words and we hope to...

This is honestly the best B&B we've ever stayed in. To begin with, Jane and Richard were very friendly and helpful, and really made us feel at ease. They offered advice on where to go, and loaned us maps and hiking guides. The room is more like an apartment: there is a huge bedroom with an enormous bed, a second...

Pleasantly surprised at the size of the private suite at the top of the house. Extremely clean and a lot of thought has gone into providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. On the first night we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 course meal seated at the dining table with a fantastic view of Launceston. We visited Blackrock beach where...

We're delighted when guests tell us we are getting it right, and aim to try and make our menus as bespoke as possible so everyone enjoys what they are offered. This is a great area for exploring history, natural beauties of Bodmin and Dartmoor, and being less than 20 miles from the coast makes for lots of interesting thngs to...

We only expected an en-suite, but we end up with a luxury flat. Loved the sitting room with the kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. There were plenty of games and toys tucked away in the chest of draws. The luxury bathroom was large, has a lovely double shower and a separate corner bath. Breakfast in the front room...

Thank you for your kind words. We have noted that people are surprised at the space and standard of luxury we offer so are now in the process of revamping our website to reflect this - and so glad you enjoyed breakfast from high up, looking out towards Bodmin Moor- we hope you visit again soon Jane and Richard

The only place I’ve ever been compelled to review more than once, Beechgrove keeps getting better; it’s just a shame I can’t rate it higher than my original review of 5 stars. The private suite accommodation was already ideal for us and our two young children, but we arrived to find that the bathroom had recently been renovated to include...

Very welcoming owners. We had a lovely suite of rooms overlooking the town and across to Bodmin Moor. Ideally placed for walking the Two Castles Trail as we were doing.
