All bedrooms are en-suite and have tea/coffee making facilities. They also have a TV and WiFi access. The east side of the house boasts unrestricted views of the lake. We have a variety of rooms including twin, double and self catering.
We are a large family - 4 generations - who booked all five lodges for a family reunion. This was the ideal spot for us as the lodges are adjacent to each other but still afford some privacy at the back. The lodges were clean & comfortable. We didn't have to worry about making noise & the kids loved it. The setting is beautiful, right beside the lake. There is lots to see & do within an hours drive. Bundoran Ballyshannon, Rossnowlagh etc. are all nearby. Nice walks & castles to visit too. The lovely village of Belleek is 5 mins drive away with some nice shops & bars. We ate in the restaurant at Dulrush one evening & Bridie & her team were well able to cater for vegans, vegetarians & a coeliac! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal & and the service was fabulous. Some of our party had Sunday lunch & said it was great too. We would highly recommend Dulrush Lodge & enjoyed making great memories there.

Really lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay. Beautifully decorated for Halloween. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly Marie who went out of her way to give us a lift to Lusty Beg up the road- very friendly and so kind to go out of her way for us.

Wow! What a gem. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as special. Bridie was our host, and she was great. The lodge is a family home and restaurant. The grounds were covered in flowers 💐 and the vistas were fabulous 👌 Breakfast was hot and delicious. Our beds were soft as a cloud, and the shower was hot water was plentiful. We would definitely stay again

Just back from an amazing stay. We stayed in the self catering cabins, gorgeous, really spacious with 2 ensuites. Had breakfast which was an extra tenner each but it was well worth it, top quality, loved the quirkiness of the breakfast room with the different types of crockery. Unfortunately we couldn't hire a boat because of the weather but we will definitely be back again so hopefully next time we get the sunshine.

I would like to let other people know about the hot tub/sauna. Obviously this is a fishing lodge, it’s in a very remote location so the thing that drew us in was the hot tubs. I had assumed it was included in the price, there is a page in the rooms that even says the facilities that are available. Nowhere does it say that the price of your stay doesn’t include the hot tubs, I am not sure why else people would stay otherwise given then remote location. It’s an extra £25 per person for 2 hours for the hot tubs. When we got down at 5pm there was the rubbish from a party the night before, roughly 50 bottles with glasses at the side of the hot tubs. The owner was mortified and tried to clear them away but the place was a mess. Bottle caps alongside where you need to get into the hot tubs. I think it’s important for Dulrush to be transparent about the cost, it isn’t mentioned anywhere and you can’t just come and go from the “spa” as you please. We saw mention of boats on other reviews but they weren't mentioned to us at all.
The location itself isn’t walk-able to anywhere for dinner, there is no footpath.
Finally, at the breakfast I asked for sausage, bacon & potato bread. The lady brought the full fry with extra bits and laughed saying that the chef thought I might like some of the other things too. I think Dulrush need to be more careful as people with the likes of egg allergies would order the breakfast without egg for a reason, it isn’t great that a chef would think to add it onto the breakfast even though I specifically said no egg please.
Overall there is a lot that Dulrush need to do to get people to return to somewhere so remote.

What a find! This place deserves credit where it's due.
I don't think I've ever come across a place where the staff couldn't do enough for you and they are so friendly and relaxed. Nothing was a bother to them.
The rooms were clean. They provided bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, towels, robes for the hot tubs and plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room.
The grounds are stunning and although they're developing the site with paving, fencing and a bar, nothing interfered with the guests or the stunning views. There's a short walk down the lane to a jetty where you can rent a boat. The view is something else.
Breakfast was beautiful and the selection was something you'd see in a hotel and it was included in the price.
Currently they have a sauna and cold wayer exercipool thay all guests can use without extra charge. The 3 hot tubs on site must be booked. It's £25 a head for 2 hours, it was worth it.
I will definitely go back but I have a feeling, it's going to become extremely popular. The family have worked so hard to make it what it is and they deserve it it be a roaring success.

My husband and I went to Dulrush to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It was a two night stay and it was just fantastic. We has Sunday lunch in the restaurant first and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. We had soup and fishcake starters. It was delicious. For the main we had pork loin roast and chicken dinner. Everything was cooked freshly. The veg was delicious and the apple sauce was also freshly made. We had a small bottle of wine each with the meal. The bill came to £41, really excellent value for money. The lodge accommodation was beautiful. We were near a lake and a fishing pier. The interior was very stylish and had plenty of room. Two bedrooms with an en suite each. The kitchen was well equipped and had a fridge freezer, cooker with oven and microwave. It was a really good break. One of the most memorable things was the friendliness and support of the staff. Everyone was helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back.

There is a review from a few days ago by a user called Railene.
I was the host of the party this person attended. She caused a massive argument during the meal & ruined my partners 40th birthday.
She has done this to be spiteful & now she’s trying to hurt their business. There were 12 people at that meal and no one else had an issue.
Railene never gave the business the opportunity to rectify the issues - she never complained directly to the staff & I don’t think that’s very fair as I am sure they would have all they could, they were very accommodating.
The team at the Dulrush were perfectly accommodating to our party, yes we were split across two tables but those tables were side by side and we could still all talk to each other.
I also had the Tuscan chicken the same as Railene and I didn’t think there was anything wrong with the potatoes or veg. I also had the cola and again, there was nothing wrong with it.
One area I will agree with Railene on was that the Chocolate Brownie was more a cake than a fudge brownie but that’s just a matter of opinion.
The restaurant was fully booked with multiple parties in, the atmosphere was lively and a little loud but what can the venue do about that? We’re Irish! We’re having a good time.
I’ve been to the Dulrush twice before and I have another 2 events planned there. I have reported my former friends review and apologise profusely to the team at The Dulrush

We visited here for my son’s communion on Saturday, 19 adults and 7 kids I think. The service and food were spot on Natasha was more than helpful and the couple that own it took time to visit our table and generously gave my son a card for his communion. I had the beef it would melt in your mouth, the potatoes were so nice and buttery it was top class and we can’t wait for an excuse to go back. Thanks to all the staff 💪

The concept sounds great - a lodge in a lovely, remote locale. The interior decor matched the theme.
I attended a birthday dinner with a total of 12 guests. The group couldn’t be accommodated together (eg couldn’t / wouldn’t join tables together).
I chose the stuffed, breaded mushrooms as a starter - which was fine. The best thing on the plate was the coleslaw.
For main, I had the Tuscan chicken. The chicken itself was lovely as was the sauce. The mashed potato was dry, hard & lumpy and the rest of the vege was boiled to extinction.
Dessert, I chose the chocolate brownie. Whilst it was also fine, it was just a piece of chocolate cake - no brownie/fudge consistency, it wasn’t moist.
I asked for a coke and clarified that it was Coca Cola, in a glass with ice. It tasted like that gross cola syrup you get on tap. I left 2/3 of it.
Foolishly I asked for a COLD glass bottle of coke and a glass with ice. (Maybe people don’t like cold drink’s in Ireland?) I got about 3 ice cubes floating in a glass with coke in the glass and the remnants left in the glass bottle which was absolutely not out of a fridge. This coke was flat and syrupy.
The overall ambience in the restaurant was completely unpleasant.
It was a full house, with a high turnover. I’ve been to many full restaurants and this was the noisiest, chaotic space. Kids screaming, babies screaming, party trumpets going off, people dropping and smashing things; the noise of tables being dragged on the floor.
It’s certainly not somewhere I would go to again.
