It a small old colonial building, rooms are large and every thing about it is aged. Entrance to the rooms are through the dining room ( I wouldn't call it a restaurant). Food ( Sri Lankan) is good though there is no big choice. Liquor is cheap ( local) Best thing is the magnificent view of the mountains and various...

Impressed by friendly service at this place. It's location is perfect - atop the hill, affording a great view. I enjoyed birdwatching from this platform, saw some good species! Rooms very large, average quality for budget Sri Lankan guesthouses, which is fine for unfussy young travelers. Power cut out frequently on first night. Food - amazing. Price is cheap, but...

We were looking around for rooms in Deniyaya and this hotel seemed like a good deal. The rooms are spacious and had fairly standard cleanliness (for Sri Lanka). The beds were especially damp and smelly though. The sheets were probably not washed in a while which is no problem as we brought our own sleeping sacks. The food was good...

They ruined clothes worth roughly 120 euros, we got about 6,5 euros worth of discounts. They expected to be paid full price for a full day tour which was really a half day tour, on which our guide left us with another tour guide and a group of slow tourists so we didnt see much. The manager yelled at us...

Huge rooms and the most enormous meals, We had a noodle dish and a rice dish for evening meal and they would have fed 10 people. Tasty food, good service. The views were incredible and there are lots of birds and squirrels.

It was nice place to stay when we visited Sinharaja. Big double room was okay, bed did not smell (as written in other review). Wifi included, some rooms have hot water. We had rice&curry + fried noodles for dinner and it was really tasty and huge (we would be okay to eat just one meal together). Food and drinks are...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are really big, but smell like old lady (specially beds smell very bed, I don't know if they change sheets). You can seat all evening on the terrace, drinkig beer and admire beautiful view. I also recommend rice&curry, very delicous!

A very quiet place with friendly staff and good food. Let alone the fabulous view! Although we only speed for lunch it would make a great base to visit Sinharaja Forest Reserve which is only about 40mins away. There are great birds to see at the resthouse too.

The view and terrace is indeed amazing and makes the place better but the room itself is not good. Matrass was wet which made sleeping terrible. Prices for food and drinks are cheap. They only have fan which for such a big room is not sufficient
