I went to Delina with my friends to escape the city rush and reconnect with nature. We didn't want to stay in anything mainstream. So, after a lot of searching we came upon Delina. Seriously it was the best decision we ever made!! Not overcrowded in the heart of Crete with really helpful and polite staff. The food was great.. We felt like we were at home.. The village nearby was quite interesting as well. We sat down with a lot of new people and witnessed the way they saw the world and how open and welcoming the were.. We are definitely coming back. Crete, Anogeia and definitely Delina was my heart now. Thank you.. Until we meet again.. ♥️

By far the best resort in Psiloritis area. Great accommodation in a dreamy atmosphere. Modern suites offering all necessary comforts. Fresh air. If you are lucky you can attend local music schemes. Friendly staff and outstanding cousine in the nearby taverna. Highly suggested.

Nowhere in Crete did I feel more at home than in Delina. We loved it so much, in fact, that we left for one night, realized we missed it, and came back a day later. The rooms were large and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and well-located, but most of all the hospitality was top notch. Maria at reception was friendly and attentive and greeted us with delicious raki and loukmades; we spent hours every night in the beautiful restaurant. By the end of our stay we had tried almost everything on the menu and it was all fantastic- appetizers, main courses, and desserts too. It was all an exceptional experience and an exceptional value: similar price to other hotels/b&bs we stayed in in Crete but we got so much more value for money. I will be back to Delina in the future.

This resort is in an absolutely beautiful part of Crete. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly. We only stayed one night which in hindsight, I wish we were there longer. We had dinner at the resort and loved it. A great inexpensive place to stay. Would love to go back.

Delina is a beautiful and scenic getaway spot for those looking for an authentic Cretan experience in the mountainous region of Anogia. Enjoy food, coffee, tea or wine at the kafenio (cafe) . Very clean and friendly environment. We enjoy coming here often as we are treated like family every time!!!!!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Delina mountain resort. We had booked a 5 star resort retreat for our 20 th wedding anniversary. We were terribly badly treated at this place and did not get what we had payed for at all which made us decide to change accommodation last minute. We took a chance and booked 2 nights at Delina and let us tell you, best decision we have ever made!! 45 minutes before we were to arrive we wrote to Delina and asked if it was possible for them to arrange some wine for our celebration ( not expecting them to be able to arrange anything before arrival of course) . When we arrive we get a wonderful and warm welcome from the woman in the reception. Some very tasty homemade candy and homemade cherry liquor was given to us( you must try it!)We bought a bottle to take home. In the room it was made up really beautiful with wine and fresh fruits for us. The room itself was absolutely wonderful, mountain style comfort in warm colors, a jacuzzi, slippers and robes and the possibility to make your own coffee and complimentary sweets. Every detail has been given attention to create just the right ambience, just lovely! We also had our dog with us and she was royally treated the whole stay, she was welcome in the restaurant and at breakfast. Lots of space for her to move around in the area. Breakfast was great. Good coffee, fruits, fresh orange juice, croissants, bread, jam, eggs and everything else one could want. We also had two excellent dinners at the restaurant and there is only praise to give. Wonderful food ( so much food)and great service from the very sweet girls working in the restaurant, they also all payed attention to our anniversary and made our night very special. Could not wish for more. The whole place is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a weekend getaway from the city lights. With the mountain views ,the tranquility put together with genuine Cretan hospitality this was easily one of the best places we have ever stayed. We hope to be back next year. The location of the hotel is wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place this is the place to stay. We booked a room with a view to the mountains with a balcony which was a great bonus. The sunsets are breathtaking and all we could hear were the birds and the sheep. However, the place is not very well kept and it is very basic. For the price we paid, we got beyond your expectations but don’t expect luxury

Great place despite COVID restrictions. Friendly staff and excellent inexpensive food in Taverna on site. Breakfast extensive and brought to rooms due to COVID restrictions. Rooms very nice and very spacious. Live free music entertainment on one night we were there was Excellent! Outside pool would have been nice..as indoor pool was closed for COVID safety. Easy to drive to Nida Plateau for Mount Ida . We would definitely like to stay again.Enjoy great views from rooms and balcony areas.

The great Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis must have been thinking of Anogia in the shadow of Delina Resort when he wrote those words. If you are a hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer, you simply must come and sit by the fire at the unique and extraordinary mountain retreat. We took a break from the beaches this weekend to visit the famous village where Cretan courage resonates like a legend. And I can tell you, if you go here you will never want to leave. Establish for the love of Cretan music, the four star resort is a perfect blend of pampering, hospitality, and traditions much of the world has forgotten. The food is fresh with the taste of local produce, meats, and herbs, and the 13 apartments give you the feeling of solitude and meticulous care. Michalis, his famous father, and their whole staff are dedicated to preserving and sharing the best the island of Crete has to offer. As a travel writer and advisor, I would be delinquent if I did not recommend this place to anyone in search of Zeus, the eternal, and the peace that only comes with authenticity. I am truly amazed by my experience at the Delina Mountain Resort. I stayed there for 2 whole months. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are beautiful and they were very clean! Beautiful scenery in the mountains, a Venetian lake and amazing sunsets. The resort is located in the village of Anogeia, which is the birthplace of some of the most important Cretan music. The most amazing thing was the hospitality. The people working at Delina truly represent the hospitality values that Anogeia is known for. If you visit Crete, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit Anogeia and specifically the Delina Mountain Resort.
