We decided to stay here in this hotel last Dec 2 for overnight. I called the number listed on their website which the staff told me that it is the owner's contact number. She was very prompt to handle our reservation and was responding upto the time we were on our way on the hotel. However, an unfortunate event happened...

Modern building great location helpful staff good aircon let down by the plumbing. Toilet system had no water. Manager had obviously had this problem before and fixed it promptly but it failed again in a few hours. There was no point in getting another fix like that so used a bucket to flush the toilet. Hot water would work briefly...

Service is absolutely terrible. No wifi. Cafe not open. Advertising is false. This is nit somewhere you want to be. Iba is great. Trike travel us easy. The surroundings are ordinary. The front desk is seldom manned. There us no cooking or coffee in the rooms. No laundry facilities or room service. No pool either.

La Vista Hotel & Beach Resort is a pretty ideal place for budgeted travelers looking for nice rooms and good service. Getting to it requires entering a small alley, so you have to pay attention to signs. It's gated and has a security guard, and there are limited rooms. Parking might be a bit of a concern during peak seasons....

the moment we stepped into the resort, all my fears of not having any rooms left dissolved since the place was practically deserted. and by deserted i mean my husband and i were the ONLY guests for that weekend. so if you're the type who wants to party with the crowd, stay away from this place during off peak season....

Ever seen that comment on the booking agency websites. Well my experiences were very similar to the previous reviewer. We were the only people at the hotel despite the comments on the website that this was the last room. The reaction of the staff was extraordinary as if to say "what are you doing here? They were mostly young lads...

OK, so we arrived at La Vista in the worst possible weather without a formal reservation. I was not expecting a welcome reception but our reception was quite odd. The staff, who appeared to be more like caretakers were very surprised to see us and did not know what to do with us. The place looked pretty much closed which...

After a horrific stay at Bakasyunan we fled to La Vista Hotel. Already at the gate we could see the quality of this hotel was above standard in Iba. Everything looked new and everything was clean. A nice big tree covering the public area giving a lovely shadow in the extreme heat was refreshing and idyllic. We were met by...

“if you're planning to have some drinks after dinner or something, ask the staff early on what they have available. we asked this upon arrival and we were informed that they only had san mig lights and pale pilsen which was ok. unfortunately, we didnt tell them how many we were having and they only had a few available.”
