Nothing fancy but everything I wanted. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant has a wide variety of choices and good quality. Right on the beach with several small stores very close by. Finding an ATM is tricky.

Honestly our favorite stay during our multiple-stop tour of Costa Rica. Great hotel with fantastic vibes (music, decorations, food, drinks) located right by the beach. Amazing staff that went above and beyond to help us rent a scooter and do all the activities we wanted to do. Everyone spoke spanish and english. Highly recommend. I had tears in my eyes when we had to leave, I really miss this place!!

This place was great! The managers at the front (a woman and young man) were amazing - provided great service and suggestions of places to eat, drink, etc. The Oceanview room was very well priced and had a covered porch area with rocking chairs and a hammock - awesome time just sitting out there watching the waves. There is music playing throughout the day because there are like 5 bars/restaurants within spitting distance, but this shut down at night and no effect on sleep. Location is great! It is under ten minutes to walk down the beach to Playa conchal - a must visit if you are in the area. Great Sandy Beach. Treat yourself to a very well priced massage at one of the stands. Proximity to Playa flamingo and Playa danta is huge - two awesome short drives from here. Really safe area with security guards at night and tons of friendly people. The pool is small but does the trick - seating around it including a couple hammocks (which were very uncomfortable if I am nitpicking). Certainly a no frills place but it has everything one needs for a great sleep. Overall highly recommend this place due to location, service and value.…

The staff are brilliant there they are really friendly and really helpful. We stayed in both the basic and superior rooms but the later is much better and worth the extra money. I have no complaints at all and would defo come back.

Fantastic ceviche lunch after a day on Conchal beach. Enjoyed the margaritas and friendly staff, as well as a cold hand wash with fragrant flowers to rinse the sand off, good wifi and a beautiful view of Brasílito beach.Wish I could take some Ceviche home to CA. Pura Vida

Very nice and friendly staff, very helpful with any kind of question. Beautiful beach nearby. Peaceful and quiet in the mornings but loud music from the bar opposite the street until late night- so best to bring some earplugs :) We (family with two teenage kids) enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is a bit run-down, but so is the whole area - the view of the ocean is wonderful, but the water is not good for swimming. Beautiful Conchal beach is a 10 min walk and worth the walk. I wouldn't swim in the beach at Brasilito. The gem of the hotel are the two 2nd floor rooms (A & B) with great view & private terrace. I wouldn't bother to stay in any other room. We stayed in room 10 for one night - it was tiny, 1st floor, next to pool which featured noisy folks and behind the room was some private home that had loud music and with the walls so thin, it sounded like they were in the room. I suspect room 8 and 6 would be the same. Also, be careful about booking. you really want rooms A & B on the 2nd floor with the great view and terrace. But twice, oops, they screwed up the reservation and we stayed in lousy room 10.…

The location is awesome, at the beach and at a soda, and naar Playa Conchal, but the breakfast is like jail food, it's just bread and butter from a dirty cup and that's it. Oh and milk and papaya, but not the fruits they promise, they also let you sign a paper to use the breakfast so you don't get a refund. People in the hotel went to the supermarket on the corner to buy ham and cheese. The place is opposite 2 very loud bars. One looks like a drugs place and a guy was bleeding very very bad at his neck, think he ended up in a fight. The bed was bad and cracky, the room was very noisy and we slept really bad of all the music, (drunk) people, lot's of roosters going on for hours. We stayed just one night, just to go to Playa Conchal which was very beautiful! We are backpackers so it's was oké, but never again!!…

A location on a beautiful beach, old style, lot of wood and ancient furniture; unfortunately the expectations crash against the total lack of maintenance and cure. We’ve been in many places like this around the world, but not at the price of a room in a big hotel downtown. The ants surrounding the bed don’t justify an extra. Let’s improve, the place deserve it!
