We have stayed here for the past four years, two months each time. Normally we come January through March. Cecilia and Raul who are the managers are like family to us as, are the guests, most of whom come year after year. You will not find a better place in Melaque. The rooms are modern, with Smart TVs, Kitchen. There...

Las arenas is a wonderful little gem on the beach in Melaque . The manager Cecilia her husband Raul and staff all work very hard to make everyone's stay enjoyable. The pool grounds and bungalows are very clean and well maintained. The Mexican families staying here are eager to practise there English on us, and we northerners in kind are...

From what i gather this is the best hotel in Melaque and when you get there it is easy to see why. Quite town, night life arround the square. Beach nice enought, but not one of my favorit. THe hotel is conviniently located away for the bar and clubs, so its quite. Recently remodled, basic, very simple but clean. The...

This is our 8 th year staying in Melaque, 2nd year at the Las Arenas. This quiet little motel has the best of everything, location on the beach, multiple restaurants just steps away. A motel totally remodeled 4 years ago and well maintained, and the best staff we have ever had look after us. With almost 20 years of traveling...

We three arrived after a morning's four hour (quite comfy Primera Plus) coach journey from Puerto Vallarta. We did not realise there was free internet on the coach or AC waiting room so wandered along the seafront road close the bus stop asking for prices. (Beers first on the beach nearby, no places locally had free wifi). After one expensive...

Went to Melaqueto to visit a friend and came upon this great little place...very clean, rates are reasonable, great breakfast right across the street and right on the beach! The bonus was the pool! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Four of the most relaxing days ever! Heaven on earth. Would definitely come here again!

We were very comfortable during our 12 night stay. The manager Cecilia and her husband Raul take very good care of the property and the guests. Our housekeeper Mona was fabulous. The entire property is well maintained and very clean. The pool was lovely and the covered palapa area next to it ensured there was always some shade to enjoy....

We think its the nicest hotel on the beach. Cecilia the manager her husband Raul and staff are wonderful. They are very...

My girlfriend had a 2 week head start and stayed a couple of blocks off the beach. I only had one week and found Las Arenas over the internet and she checked it out and that's where we stayed for 7 glorious nights. After numerous experiences with large to very large all inclusive resorts I found Las Arenas very refreshing,...

We stayed at Las Arenas Hotel for 2 nights in July. There were 13 family members in our group and we all loved it. The staff was very attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk sells water, beer, soda ect. At the same prices of the small grocery stores in the area. We would definitely stay there...

“I would stay in room #16 again. It's on the second floor and a nice view of the grounds and ocean. A little bit of street noise from the bedroom on the backside but it doesn't go too late and nothing a few cerveza and margaritas doesn't cure. :)”
