The Cumberland Guesthouse was wonderful! The suite was super clean, aesthetically appealing and supplied with everything you might need to have a comfortable stay. The layout was well thought out for the whole family, allowing for adults and kids alike to feel relaxed and able to enjoy their stay. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to cook for yourself. The living room has a lovely collection of coffee table books, multiple games and TV viewing options to choose from, as well as comfortable seating. The bedrooms are relaxing, have comfortable bedding and multiple pillow options, allowing for all personal preferences. The spacious bathroom includes self-serve laundry, ample linens and quality shower products. While visiting the Comox Valley, I would highly recommend staying at the Cumberland Guesthouse!

My friend and I were very comfortable in Suite B - a 2-bedroom until. It's obvious that the owners take great pride in this property - it is well maintained, very well and amply equipped with new and stylish furnishings, and is perfectly located near the main street and restaurants. It is a short driving distance to Courtney and Comox so is a lovely base to explore the Comox Valley from. The hosts are responsive and gracious having thought of everything to make the unit feel like home.

We’ve stayed at this guesthouse on several occasions over the years. It is located near main street and walking distance to all the restaurants, stores, and only a few blocks away from walking and biking trails. The Guesthouse is under new ownership, and they’ve made great improvements to Studio D, where we stayed this last time. It is modern, clean and well appointed. It lacks a kitchen sink, but everything else is provided (i.e. cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses, dishwashing rags, soap, drying rack, coffee machine with coffee choices, kettle and tea selections). There is a microwave and a small fridge with freezer and guests have access to a communal BBQ. The bathroom was stocked with quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and fluffy bath and beach towels. Locked bike storage is available as well as lawn chairs right outside the unit. The check-in process was easy and well communicated, and the owners Sabrina and Mario are super friendly and attentive. We will be staying here again.

The location of the guest house is perfect, one block from Cumberland’s Main Street. The studio is clean, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. There are some thoughtful touches (motion sensor night light in bathroom, good size charging station, games for rainy days, etc) which show that the owners care about your stay. Overall, the guest house fits nicely with the Cumberland vibe!

We stayed here on a bike vacation for 3 nights with our pup and had an awesome time. Sabrina and Mario are great hosts: friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave us some awesome tips on local bike trails (which you can literally access from outside the front door). Mario has even built some of the trails himself! We appreciated the locked bike storage set up, which made us feel secure.
The charming town of Cumberland exceeded our expectations. From the character homes to historic buildings and delicious eateries, we soaked up the relaxed vibe and heritage feel of the town. It was all made possibly by a stellar location right in the heart of the village.
We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay. These owners have thought of everything you need and more for your comfort and enjoyment. Comfortable beds, ample linens, fully equipped kitchen, your choice of coffee or tea preparations, tasteful and comfortable furniture and many extras. It is fresh and bright and has a well designed layout. I’ve stayed in many top hotels in BC and will very happily stay again.

The ground floor apartment we had was the perfect place from which to explore this historic part of BC. Very modern and clean - large cozy bed, good bathroom and shower. Minimal kitchen facilities, but sufficient for our needs. The Guesthouse caters for the mountain bikers who come here, and there are added facilities for bike & sports equipment storage.

This accommodation is in an excellent, convenient location and very clean . We enjoyed being so close to the town site and a relatives home . The suite is new and has everything and more to make the weekend enjoyable. Also many enjoyable things to do in the area.

great location, spacious, happy to have laundry facility, well stocked kitchen, very clean, quiet. close to good restaurants, comfortable beds, lots of parking. If it had a hot tub we'd rate it 6 out 5 stars ; ) hope to come back in ski season. thanks for your hospitality
