I have stayed at Hill View Farm whilst on business a few times now and really can say that Gill & Robert's standards are consistently high with excellent well appointed rooms and a superb breakfast with various options available. Thoroughly recommended for visits to Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire area.

Pleasant and peaceful accommodation. A bed and breakfast on a working farm. Our hostess Gill was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Down for a week-end with family in Bicester. Lovely surroundings with a comfortable room. All the 'goodies' in the room that are important, tea & coffee, tv and hairdryer. Breakfast was plentiful and a great English breakfast

Thank you Debbie for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we enjoyed meeting you both. Hopefully the weather is holding up for the wedding and that you have a super time in the Scottish Isles. Hope to see you next time you visit the family. More

We stayed in the Shepherd's Hut for 2 nights in April 2016. It was snowing our first morning, which meant it was REALLY a bit cold, but we soon got the fire going and coffee on the stove. We had a "care package" of snacks, bread (even catering to my gluten free requirements) and a fresh pack of butcher's bacon... More

Hill View Farm must be one of the best B & Bs we have stayed in. Having done battle in Bicester Village on our way, Gill gave us the warmest of welcomes. The whole place was spotless, the room exceeded our expectations and the breakfast was substantial enough for us not to need lunch when we visited Oxford. Gill and... More

My daughter and I spent a wonderful 3 days in the Shepherds Hut. Fantastic views, beautifully decorated and equipped accommodation, and a hamper that held delicious treats. Gill and Robert were so friendly and helpful, the perfect hosts.

From the moment we turned down the drive to Hill View Farm we were impressed. The views are spectacular. And once we arrived things just got better! Our hosts, Gill and Robert, were warm and welcoming. We were shown to a clean and fresh room, with an en-suite bathroom which was also spotless. (As it was a particularly hot day... More

My partner and i stayed in the shepherds hut on hill view farm at the weekend for our anniversary and can do nothing but sing its praises. Firstly the owners of the farm were incredibly welcoming in a homely way rather than in a business way which made me and my partner instantly comfortable. The hut its self was an... More

Gill and Robert have just completed the self-catering apartment in the 'granny annex' to the barns. It is warm, comfortable, well-appointed, clean, tidy, and ideal for the single traveller (being only a single bed), especially if staying several nights. I have booked several further weeks with them over the next couple of months, since I was so pleased. Gill and... More
