We were a large party around about 20 people for Sunday lunch and they were unable to cope totally. I think they had overbooked too many people at once.Food arrived under cooked such as the roast beef, over cooked potatoes and yorkshire pudding. Burnt garlic bread and pancakes. The veg was brought out after nearly all the mains were served...

Went to a "wake" at this hotel. Service great and unobtrusive for all the right reasons. Hot food buffet cheered everyone up! Not a curry fan but those who ate it went back again for more! Did sneak a poppadom which was naughty but nice. Lasagne was great. And the chips perfect! (+ sarsons vinegar too!) Desserts were delicious. Caramel...

Was welcomed by Michael and shown to our room. Warm, pleasant, spacious with everything needed for our stay. Staff all very charming and happy to assist with directions and information. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here on a Saturday night...the hotel and rooms are a little dated but very clean ...it would be nice to see the hotel have a facelift...saying that the staff were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was very nice...

Looking for a room.for the night, we got a family room for 5. Cosy but enough room for everyone. The hotel has a nice English touch, a little old fashioned but clean with everything you.need. service was excellent and very friendly. A reasonable price for the room as well. So if you are looking for a nice experience and like...

Was there for a party. Small single room but was fine for my purposes. Friendly welcoming staff. I missed breakfast as I overslept by half an hour. As I was checking out, owner asked me if I'd had breakfast, I said no I missed it, he asked if I'd like a bacon sandwich, rang the chef and asked him to...

We stayed at the Littlebury for 1 night B&B, to travel to the Silverstone F1 grand prix. it's very close for this. The staff were very friendly, and it was an old style hotel. homely and has a local pub and restaurant. The room was very spacious and the bathroom very new and clean. The room decor was fairly dated,...

This hotel is a strange hotel. The rooms can be dated but for the price and compared to other hotels around here I think it is very reasonable. I find the staff very friendly and they are worth the price alone. The food and drink in the bar is very reasonably priced and I find the food to be very...

Over the years we have been here for events both happy and sad. The food here is quite expensive and on this occasion the buffet was sausage rolls, chicken and sandwiches. An hour after eating I felt awful. I'm not suggesting the foods always bad just this occasion. They've had a lot of work done over the years which looks...

I stayed for 8 days on B&B basis in this family owned hotel, which is set in pleasant grounds with ample parking. Cooked breakfasts were excellent and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I stayed in a ground floor room overlooking part of the garden which was set up as a limited mobility room. The only obvious drawback was that...
