This is a lovely little hotel with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was brilliant, great pancakes and eggs, one of the best breakfasts on our trip so far. Thank you for your hospitality, a truly charming little gem.

We stayed in dream villa hotel for two nights as part of a tour. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice design. Staff is extremely friendly. They even waved us out as our bus left. Breakfast is wonderful. Fruit, toast, pancakes and eggs baked the way you like. Probably the cosiest place in Kalaw.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in a Superior room at the Dream Villa Hotel during a recent holiday in Myanmar. As seasoned travellers, the hotel met all our expectations and we'd certainly have no hesitation .recommending it to others. It was in a good location within walking distance of the station - probably a little far to carry...

Nice place, really friendly staff and the room was very comfortable. we stayed for one night before trekking to Inle Lake, breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious (pancakes were awesome) and fuelled us really well for the day. Kalaw was cold at night but they have warm beds so no problem. helpful staff gave us a map and...

We were on the second floor, no elevator. Rooms were simple and clean. We had a corner room so lots of windows. The bathroom had a hand held shower over the bath which always find difficult to use. There were extra blankets in the wardrobe which you may need to use. Because of the elevation it is cool there in...

The staff here are so so helpful. It was quite cold at night when I was there and they went out of their way to let me choose the warmest room and also gave me a heater. All staff made sure that guests had everything they needed. The breakfast was the best I had in Myanmar - perfectly cooked eggs...

The hotel is centrally located in Kalaw so it’s an easy walk to the markets, local restaurants, etc. The room was an odd size – cramped for two but too big for one – with a firm bed, TV and wardrobe. There was no air-conditioning or heating in the room so opening the window provided ventilation. It had a small,...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. We arrived about 7pm and the first thing I noticed when we walked in to our room was how cold it was. There was one blanket each but I was still freezing all night. It was horrible getting up in the morning when it was so cold. There was no...

Cutest and coziest hotel we stayed throughout our journey in Myanmar. * Location superb, close to markets and all. * Delicious breakfast, yummy pancakes, eggs, coffee, fruits. * Thick blankets inside the closets in the room in case you are cold at nights. * Warm water shower (really necessity for cold weather in Kalaw) * Super friendly staff work here....

Kalaw isn't exactly big but, still, this place is centrally located - near the market and pagoda. Rooms are quaint, a bit like a swiss chalet (which of course you don't expect in Myanmar). Staff are very friendly and helpful (they offered to clean our hiking boots after we came back from a walk in the countryside). Wifi was quite...
