My wife an I spent two pleasant nights at this hotel. The location is quite remote, in a small village with limited services. Fortunately the hotel offers pretty much everything the travelers may need. Breakfast was a wild selection cold buffet with salami, cheese, fruit and vegetables, a variety of fresh bread. A la carte dinner was reasonably priced and... More

Could only stay for one night, but we were very pleased with the place. Big, spacious room with high rooms, wooden floor and big windows and a modern interior. The breakfast is above average but nothing special, but the á la carte dinner we had was not the best, but still nothing to complain. I think this is a really... More

I spent a weekend at the hotel with my wife and both of us were really satisfied. The hotel is situated in a small former castle. It was not long ago renovated, the rooms are tidy and have a nice design. The service was remarkable. The staff was absolutely nice and helpful. They really made their best to make our... More

A manor house, the summer residence of a 19th-century prime minister of Hungary; restored impeccably, set in a jewel of a park, with beautiful furnishings, well-equipped bedrooms, a generous and varied breakfast, and, at dinner, a sensibly limited but again varied menu -- "We want to do only a few things, but to do them very well," the proprietor explained... This small and elegant hotel in a renovated historic mansion is an Oasis for peaceful relaxation. The chef will prepare exquisite Hungarian dishes or anything your heart desires. The property has extensive gardens, perfect for a nice stroll and getting in contact with nature. It is about 2.5 hours from Vienna in the village of Ratot.

I am an American who married a Hungarian in the village of her father in Hungary. This means that we had people attending from all over America and Europe. Knowing that people were traveling from so far and at great expense, we wanted our wedding, the hotel, and the reception to be something they would remember. We had our guest... More
