Once again staying in a Small Luxury Hotel does not disappointed. This 20 room hotel is a converted mansion and has a homelike quality right in the center of the old historic town of Pietrasanta. The staff is incredible, so hospitabile and willing to make suggestions and give directions all with a warm and friendly smile. We were upgraded to...

Good seafood for all ages. Attentive wait staff who never pushed at all. Price was reasonable for 10 of us. Never hesitated to offer things for the children which were not on the menu for example pasta with butter.

I have been going to Forte dei Marmi all my life but now I will never go again after discovering this great place. Pietrasanta town is gorgeous and the hotel is in the best spot of the city. It is very close to the beach and in front of an amazing reataurant.

The town was lovely. This is in a pedestrian area in the centre of town. Lots of positives from the experience. I was slightly expensive I thought but it isn't a cheap town. Art galleries, fashion shops and lots of sculpture.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in Pietrasanta. The staff are welcoming and friendly and always available to help ensure your stay goes well. The rooms are stunning and there is a lovely courtyard for breakfast and to relax during the day. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

There is no negative issue here, all good and perfect and totally mixed with contemporary art and old Tuscan Style. Giuseppe, Giovanni and the entire staff of this hotel just let you be, enjoy, drink, sleep and love. They are the best hosts in this hotel that is done to make you feel in your pietrantese home.

Our first time in this part of Tuscany. Chose to stay in Pietrasanta for its artistic history and our love of Botero who lives there part of the year. We stayed in Albergo for 2 nights which was the perfect amount of time. Service was great most especially from Simone and Giuseppe who both really went out of their way...

What a great location for exploring the area (went to Cinque Terre and Lucca - both within 50 minutes). The hotel is located 5 minutes walking from the train station and right in the small town with lots of good restaurants (the shops are also very nice). Our room was large with a king bed and large marble bathroom (the...

We fell in love with this city and this hotel almost immediately. The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the city and the region. The service at the hotel, especially Guiseppe and Simone, was outstanding. We were upgraded to a beautiful room. Highly recommended!

Nice interior but noisy, small room with no mini bar and subpar breakfast. Chilly service. The town itself is pretty for a day visit. Looking through the reviews, even the positive ones, I noticed that the management responded with hostility to even the smallest criticisms.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Albergo Pietrasanta is located in a grand seventeenth century palazzo, formerly known as the Barsanti-Bonetti, in the historical center of the town, near the Cathedral and the medieval square. A lovely veranda, facing landscaped gardens with century-old palm trees, connects the main building to the adjacent converted stables and provides a peaceful setting to have a quiet conversation or read a book. An extraordinary collection of contemporary art works is on permanent display at the Albergo Pietrasanta. The collection gives an exhaustive overview of the development of Italian art from the middle of the twentieth century until today. Each of the 15 rooms and 5 suites has been designed individually: furniture and colors have been chosen according to the structure of the spaces. Contemporary art works are displayed in staircases, lounges, and conference rooms, creating a comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of a fine private home, but coupled with the service of a first class hotel. ... more   less
