We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The location is beautiful, and we saw plenty of animals wandering by, including some giraffes. It generally felt very relaxed and quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a high standard, and the central lodge is also very nice with a small swimming pool overlooking the... More

This a great lodge with excellent service in a most beautiful setting-surrounded by massive granite formations .An excursion to the 2000 year old extremely well preserved rock paintings is a highlight. Wonderful bird-life. The lodge is very popular amongst international guests and I would urge fellow South Africans visiting Namibia not to miss this amazing destination-a reduced rate is offered... We booked the Ai Aiba just to have somewhere to sleep as part of a longer journey. One of the reasons we booked here was a quick and positive e.mail-reply by Heinke. As we were getting closer we discovered how beautiful the area north of Erongo is! And when we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a cool drink and... More

A lovely place against the red sandstone and granite boulders, perched with a view out from the most inviting swimming pool and comfortable seating area near the bar. Room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable, huge good shower, lovely patio from which to watch the waterhole activity. Food was very good and the manager couldn't have been nicer or more obliging.... Ai Aiba was a beautiful lodge where they seemed to think of the little extra details to make your stay perfect. Everything worked. The room was nice, when you turned on the hot water you got hot water, the pool was clean, they put wine glasses in the room. We were the only people staying there and the manager gave... More

On our 3 weeks of Namibia holiday, we found this place to be one of the best. Friendly, professional, excellent food at a very good rate. The staff really knows what service and hospitality means. the large rooms have stunning views as far as Brandberg and game comes to drink. Interesting live- museum with San bushmen (Village) just around the... More

One of the loveliest places to stay in Namibia, in the middle of the Erongo Nature Conservancy on a lodge set in pristine wilderness. The bungalows (10 in all, two rooms per building) are large, extremely comfortable and superbly laid out, under thatched traditional roofs. The local nature walks to the rock paintings are easy to follow yourself and completely... More

Ai Aiba is situated in the Erongo Mountains in a spectacular setting that can truly be called in the middle of nowhere. Two rooms form one thatched roof bungalow. The reception/bar/restaurant is open on three sides with grandiose views over the area. One morning for breakfast we were treated to three giraffes grazing in the distance. Food is good and... More
