I have stayed here twice and was able to confirm this time what I suspected this time. Don't get me wrong, the room itself wasn't bad. Has a timeshare vibe. Here's the weird part, which may make you wonder about some of the other reviews here. Keep in mind I stayed in the low season so maybe things are odd....

Unfortunately, this was the up and over race in Taos ski valley and the snow bear was asked for a room that handled only 2 guests as a gift to the race officials. we were not aware of the time frame that the guests would be arriving, hence we were not there to greet them. The previous year, we must...

This is the best place to stay at TSV! The location - can't be beat. We saw wildlife from the patio, skied in/out with ease and went sleding on the nearby hill. Centrally located and incredibly easy to navigate. But, don't worry, if you have troubles the owners/staff are there to help. And they DID help in every way to...

We arrived at the codo after a full day of skiing in TSV. The manager had been very helpful over the phone so we were a bit surprised that he didn't help us with our many bags and heavy ski equipment from the car, across a building and up two flights of stairs. He stayed on his cell phone the...

We apologize that the maintenance manager was on the telephone when you arrived. We do not allow skis in the unit so he probably did not realize that you did not put your skis on the racks provided for you exactly where you park your vehicle. The Maintenance manager is over 50 as well and he may have not have...

Surprisingly it bothered us the least.New mattresses are huge improvement over the last year . The kitchen is tiny and leaves no room for little...

Snow Bear is in a great location if you want on the mountain convenience in Taos Ski Valley. It is true ski in...the ski out part is debatable. You still have to trudge 100 feet or so to get to the ski school lift. That lift takes you to another bunny lift from which you can finally ski down to...
