Four of us visited Soulton Hall last night for a birthday celebration meal. Soulton Hall is a family owned affair and when you arrive you really do feel you have been invited to a beautiful, unique and quirky home. The service was personal and friendly - the owner was working that night - and the food was cooked to perfection....

My wife and I bilked the Hall at short notice and did not know what to expect. For the sheer history, architecture and character of the building we were overwhelmed. It was easy to imagine that adventures and the lives that that wound themselves into the fabric of the property. Don't expect marble and high tech fashion. Be happy with...

I wanted quiet, comfortable isolation with my boyfriend for a few days after the excitement and business of Christmas. I was not disappointed. We spent three nights (the perfect length of time to relax) in the beautiful Hill Room and enjoyed dinner cooked by the remarkable kitchens each night. The room was very large and gorgeously decorated and the food...

Gorgeous old house packed with history and we loved every second there. We were very well looked after and we would recommend this place to everybody, especially if you are into history. The four poster bed was extremely comfortable and we had a really good night sleep. Just a wonderful place, go and see for yourself.

We stayed for one night, The place is unique and very charming, an architectural pearl. Lovely old bedrooms (we stayed in a room with a very old sloping floor and large bed (only the bathroom facilities were modern), a real sense of a old manor house. - a strong sense of history and of a place lovingly maintained and run...

I had a wonderful, very peaceful stay at Soulton Hall. It's a big old house (maybe Tudor? my history is not great) with pea fields and corn around it and the owner pointed out a forest of ancient oaks that's been there for hundreds of years. I was there to work on a novel and found it the perfect place...

Soulton is a haven of tranquility from the hurly burly of city life! My partner and I had a wonderful stay in the main house on a recent trip to Shropshire. The management were extremely helpful, recommending places to see and eat in the surrounding area. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The creaky, uneven floors only...

Loved the wedding venue, absolutely top notch! Lovely outdoor area for relaxing in, and is separate from the main house. Our 'cottage', Shooters Lodge, was not a cottage but a modern bungalow. Nice enough, and I would stay again, the bedding was of excellent quality, very comfy beds, clean kitchen, all linen was fresh and of good quality and the...

I firstly am amazed to see negative reviews on here. Shocked really and saddened because Ann and family work hard to deliver a wedding day to remember. Our daughter and son in law chose Soulton Hall for its picturesque location, outstanding menu and professional service. The support from Ann, her family and team was absolutely fabulous; there was a warm...

Stayed for three nights as visiting local attractions. We were well looked after, food was fantastic and the hosts Anne and John were great with just the right amount of attention. We were left alone to explore the fabulous house and gardens. We slept like baby's very comfortable. Will defiantly return . Now we have reviewed this it will not...
