We visited with friends and found a warm, friendly welcome, coupled with homemade chocolate cake and a cup of tea, served in a lovely comfy lounge, superb. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and well appointed, with a basket full of every toiletry requirement you might need. Christine made an excellent recommendation for dinner at a restaurant near by, and then...

We stayed for 4 days at Chatford House, Christine was so so welcoming you felt part of the family immediately. We are meat free people Christine went out of her way to ensure we had meat free sausage for breakfast superbly accompanied by home free range eggs. Christine baked a Victorian Sponge, slices of which were in our room on...

We stayed at Chatford House for a couple of nights while we attended a family gathering nearby. Christine is an excellent hostess. This is a lovely place, quiet and restful. Very sweet and amusing canine company, too! We highly recommend it and hope to return some day.

We were immediately welcomed as though part of the family by Christine and Rupert. We stayed in the "Lawley room" which was both very spacious and incredibly comfortable. The en suite was amazing, boasting both a large bathtub and a great shower. There was also a guest lounge downstairs to complete the relaxing home feel. Christine cooks a fantastic breakfast...

Christine and Rupert made it very comfortable for us and we felt very at home. The room is lovely and has an amazing en suite bathroom. The B&B has its own guest sitting room and a beautiful garden to sit in. Expect to go up a clothes size from Christine's awesome breakfast and her homemade cake which was in our...

Chatford House is an 18th century farmhouse set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside (yet no more than 10-15 minutes drive from the centre of Shrewsbury). The conversion for b&b has been really well done. The large bedroom and large en-suite we stayed in were most completely kitted out with an abundance of teas, coffee and other beverages and all manner...

I picked this B&B out of several on the Shrewsbury Tourist Info website. It was a great find giving lovely accommodation close to my recuperating mum for myself and my sister. The family who run it are really friendly offering great food and a very warm welcome. Even putting on afternoon tea and homemade cake to allow my mum a...

I was working locally for a few months and found this wonderful B&B. Set in a beautiful location this traditional B&B felt like home. I enjoyed every sleep, every organic breakfast and every slice of home made delicious cake served by Christine and her delightful family. I genuinely didn't want to leave but when I did I left with a...

Lovely welcome, Lovely cakes and food. So comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended. An excellent spot for touring Shropshire in every direction, yet really peaceful and quiet in the heart of the countryside.
