My wife and I needed to visit family close to Huntly. Initially we selected the hotel because they take dogs. We knew the some reviews were poor but we decided to give it a try and booked in for 3 nights without the dog. We arrived in the Square in the centre of town and found

Sorry to hear you had a poor experience, as you state we have a huge amount of work to do in hotel and are trying our best to get the hotel to a better standard. We have had it a very short time and it will take time to improve but we are hopefull that improvements will be made. The Breakfast you mention was not priced at £8.50 . The breakfast you received was free of charge . At the moment we are not taking reservations for the full cooked breakfast ( £8.50) We do not advertise WI-FI in rooms as it is an old building and we are aware that a signal is not available in some rooms , we advertise WI-FI in public areas only. Concerning the lack of juices etc , this will be brought up with the staff on duty . We know there is a huge amount of work and appreciate any feedback given , if you wish to discuss further please email the hotel direct where I will be pleased to discuss further. Thank you
