From the moment we booked into Greenmount, we knew we'd have a lovely welcome and a comfortable stay. We were recommended to stay here by a cousin living in the area. Well presented quiet room, very comfortable beds and every facility needed for a few days touring the area. A well cooked plentiful breakfast, a friendly and interesting owner, the... More

We had a very pleasant stay in the annexe in the triple bed room. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. The facilities were all excellent and breakfast next day was very good. My husband much enjoyed the cooked breakfast. The owner was very hospitable even lending me a coat because I had forgotten my own. There was... More

The high standards of cleanliness and furnishing have been maintained at this delightful guest house over many years. The house is in beautiful decorative order and is spotlessly clean. Mrs Manson is always most welcoming and produces a superb breakfast. Although the house is situated on the High Street in Huntly, it is very quiet and you are not aware... More

Thanks to Mrs Manson for bailing me out - arrived by bicycle after exhausting journey into a northerly wind from Montrose. Although very busy with bus party found me a room in annex at reasonable price. Great sleep, all the facilities you need - very impressed by water pressure! Good advice on eating. Mrs Manson apologetic she could not offer... More

Although well over 140 years old this charming house has been renovated and decorated to excellent standards. The cleanliness and overall presentation cannot be faulted. Our en-suite bedroom was quiet, spacious and beautifully decorated. Mrs Manson, the proprietor, provides an excellent breakfast which is cooked to order. There is much to see and do in the area and the guest... More

Stayed here regularly - each time I stayed there was something wrong with the room...low energy lightbulbs which flashed like a disco. Informed the owner and she said 'she'd look at in the morning'...erm that isnt much use to me is it?? Still got charged the full amount - for sitting in semi darkness...
