Personally I don't like polarising one star reviews, which is why normally I don't write any. But in this case I have to make an exception. Initially we thought this Agritourismo was average. The welcome wasn't the warmest we'd received, the rooms were sparse but clean, the food was good. Even with the dirty pool (a frog was its only... More

We stayed at this agriturismo for the last four nights of our trip to Sicily. While close to Palermo and the airport, it was authentically rural (except for the view of the autostrada -- we can photoshop that out!) and a real working farm, with cheese production right next to the kitchen. We enjoyed the well-prepared local food, much of... More

We stayed at Fattoria Manostalla for ten days, which was much too long. On the other hand we got to know the place extremely well. I would recommend the farm for short afternoon swims in their excellent pool and you might enjoy the basic farm meals in their restaurant. In fact this is what the locals Sicilians do, especially on... More

On our last day in Sicily, we chosen an agritourismo not too far from the airport of Palermo. We enjoyed the great hospitality and excellent Sicilian catches of our guest family in a wonderful spring landscape. We can highly recommend this place.

Our initial feelings were of disappointment as we had booked this agriturismo because on the website it claimed a beautiful looking swimming pool which was very important to us, especially travelling as we were with my 85 year old mother. We arrived to find the pool full of algae and were told it had closed at the end of September;... More

My children wished to have a “non-tourist” trip to Sicily. Therefore, for reasons of our itinerary, we looked for an “agriturismo” in western Sicily near the seacoast. What we found is a small paradise and a great miracle for travelers. Agriturismo Fattoria Manostalla Villa Chiarelli is nestled in the hills above the Gulf of Castellemare. The rooms are clean, neat... More

We were the only guests and we the place is ok. But the breakfast was really nothing, some coffe and sweet cake. Not like I've read in other reviews. Probably because it was oktober and we were the only guests. Dinner wasn't possible either. But we got 2 good reccomendations for restaurants. There is also a pool, there is no... More

Beautiful, quiet place with delicious food and nice swimming pool. To sit in the coutyard at Manostalla sipping a glas of spumante before dinner was nice and relaxing. The dinner was typical Italian cooking, very nice and tasty! Rooms are very simple but tidy. Modern swimming pool area in contrast to the old, renovated buildings. The owners have done great... We spent two nights at this Agriturismo, located off the Balestrate exit of the Autostrada. It is 20 minutes from the Palermo airport, but immerses you in the rural rolling hills of Sicily, where you are surrounded by grape vines and olive trees. The place is beautiful -- at the core, an old monastery, with well-blended additions built around a... More
